    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Possible Dinker?

Hi everyone, I am quite the newbie when it comes to ball pythons but will hopefully learn over time and hopefully not ask too many dumb questions. Today I was at the reptile show looking through a stack of normals and this girl popped out to me and I thought she looked quite different so I decided to pick her up. She had quite the difference in bands and color so I figured if anything she is a normal I like the looks of. While I was walking around quite a few other vendors said the same thing and that she looked quite interesting as well and was questioning if she was just a normal. I did also hear that the person I got her from was closing down so they ended up mixing in a lot of their hets but I am not 100% true of the authenticity of that statement.

But either way I figured I would post a few pictures I took with my phone when I got home.

Leland i have had my share of dinker projects in the pass..that's a nice looking baby,almost enchi color or het lavenders almost that reddish,orange color reduced pattern..very nice

Thanks guys I am looking forward to seeing her progression. I also picked up a male that will hopefully be close to breeding size soon. He is an albino, though not sharp. But at least its easy to tell the difference from albino from normals lol.

Nice pick up!! If that proves genetic you have some nice looking babies to mix into some morphs! I love reduced patterns and banded balls

Reduced pattern banded normals are my weak spot. Were I still looking for normal girlies, she's exactly the look I would snag in a heart beat.

Enjoy her - she's gorgeous!

Dumb question, If I wanted to see some morphs from my albino male, the only thing I could get a morph out of would be a het albino or albino female right?

I am in school and have another hobby of motorcycles so I buy and sell motorcycles to fund my racing so if I decided I wanted to take the plunge and get a few good morphs to work with does anyone have any good ideas? Of course this means this would kind of take away from my motorcycle buying and selling, but if I had some successful breeding I and could sell some of the offspring I would hopefully be able to pay for quite a bit of my racing still at least lol. Thanks again everyone

You might want to either stick with racing or reptiles. Once you get into this hobby it takes over every other hobby and parts of your everyday life too lol.

Figured I would post another picture, it is a little blurry though from my cell phone. She started off as a weak eater but now she is chawing down on some nice sized small rats.

She's very pretty. I would say she has a good shot at being genetic banded/reduced pattern. As far as the albino goes, I would pick up a female het albino, pastel het albino, spider het albino, cinny het albino, or mojave het albino. It all depends on how much you want to spend:)
