In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would like to hear from anyone who has purchased snakes from bhb reptiles as to I have searched for reviews and cannot find anything on them.
Thanks

BHB is Top Notch. Brian is a stand up guy, and will work with anyone to help them out. I've purchased many snakes from them, and I would not even think about hesitating to buy from them.

I also have bought many snakes from BHB. I Love that place unfortunately I dont have enough money to buy it all!! OR I WOULD FROM THEM!! fast shipping and dang good prices.

I have never ordered from them online, but I have bought snakes from them at the NARBC in Arlington, Tx. in the past & all his snakes appeared to be healthy & in top notch shape. He was very friendly & helpful while I held one then another trying to decide which one I wanted most.

I would not hesitate to buy from BHB again if I find something I can't live without.

I know they're great with the ball pythons, but I don't know about corns. Their prices tend to be either *much* higher or *much* lower than is typical for a corn morph, and they have a couple made up morph names. Like their 'chocolates' that appear to be brownish normals?

Might want to do more research as Choclate ball pythons has been around for years. Theres even super chocolates as well. Without the Chocolate the Camo ball wouldnt exists.

don't know about thier corns specifically (and I'm not a corn guy anyhow) but the king rats, tx rat snake and albino garter I got from them are great snakes.

Please re-read. I have cornsnake stated several times in my post. There is NO chocolate cornsnake. If it's a line-bred normal, fine, but it would be nice of them to state that. Like the "brick red" corns I saw at the show last weekend. Utterly bland normals, those ones, but were given a 'fancy' name to sell for more.

BHB's "miami" in the well started section is a well colored classic with a tan-orange background the whole length of the snake. No silver or even gunmetal gray to speak of.

In the same section, they have an ultramel for $100.

In their own photo gallery, they have a terrazzo incorrectly labeled as a granite (anery diffused). Yes, I know terrazzo came first and was called granite before basically vanishing off the radar, but the standard trade name of granite applies to the anery diffused.

However, on the upside, the examples they provided of the morphs show they have some top notch animals in their collection (outside of the 'miamis') so it's up to the individual. Look around, check prices, talk with people. There's lots of good, smaller breeders out there as well. Carol Huddleston, Kathy Love, Steve Roylance, Walter Smith just to name a few.

I have not purchased any snakes from BHB because I have been detoured from doing so. I have heard about them selling sick snakes and can't take a chance pulling anything into my collection. One of my friends purchased a group of snakes from BHB and they arrived covered in mites. I have visited their site before to see their prices on a particular morph, but have not pushed myself to make a purchase. Just personally knowing about the mites alone is more than enough for me to make my purchase else where.

Wow Jason!! I then wonder if the person that this happens to is afraid to say something to said "big breeder" because; he breeds 10,000 snakes a year and I'm a smallfry? I think it opens up a plethora of potential to not know what is going on at your shop with too much going on? Just mho though. Thanks for sharing Jason. I once heard this and it rings heavily in mind everyday: "ya can't be a professional at anything; if ya dabble in everything?" :iagree:
