• Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I had posted a wanted ad for a male rhino iguana and was contacted by a John Dillard saying he had a young female for $350 shipped. Wasn't what I was really seeking but after seeing a photo and for the price decided to send funds via PayPal on Sat 4/23. He said he would ship this last Monday or tues 4/25-26. I had send him numerous emails asking for a tracking number and all I got was excuses and no tracking number. After being alerted by one of the moderators I'm posting this now before someone else gets taken advantage of.

*Should I have searched this guy first I would have found this. Lesson learned.

Not exactly (regarding that second email account). That is likely the cross-victim's account (in accordance with the MO of the person I paid mention to) from a separate scam.

The person arranging the scam often has the animal scam victim send payment to a third party for goods that are then sent to the scammer. The scammer receives the goods. The animal scam victim opens a dispute with the seller/sender of goods because the scammer puts them off long enough to receive the goods and then sends/delivers nothing promised. The third party then has to deal with the PayPal dispute. Both the animal scam victim and the third party are left to handle the issue. Since the goods were not sent to the person sending payment, the funds may be returned to the animal scam victim (depending). The seller/sender of goods is then out both product and funds.

Here is a direct form to contact Sheriff Gee of the Hillsbourgh County Sheriff's Office. Pantoja has 3 arrests at that office alone. It would take a victim 5 minutes to fill this form in. I realize some victims are relucant to take actual action. Here is a person with years of charges. Contacting the Sheriff gives them a reason to go visit the scammer, at which time they might be able to find "other/additional" hard crimes.

Yeah I'm the one who made the original post on the Axanthic iguana. So sorry this happened to you too! I tried filing a claim but apparently I sent the money via friends and family which I don't remember doing. Oh well just want to make sure this con doesn't get anyone else. Really activating. Hope this guys is caught

(Note: this is not specifically directed towards Adam, but his comment triggered my post)

No scammer is ever going to magically get caught if no victim ever brings it up to the attention of law enforcement. Scammers realize that most victims are "lazy". They realize that the majority of victims are great for "talking" about how much they hate the scammer, but they aren't going to do anything with law enforcement about it, and SO... they continue and continue and continue.

Countless times the scammers have been outed only to have the victim curl up in the fetal position and suck their thumbs and do nothing further. It is great we all can talk among ourselves, but unless a victim is willing to let law enforcement know of the situation, they are none the wiser and have no reason to go "catch" someone that isn't on their radar.

Just the other day on a different BOI thread we posted the scammer's information and the contact information for the local police. After days of waiting I PMed the victim to see if he had done anything about it...he said, "no, because he didn't think it would do anything".

Like I said, most victims are "lazy", and scammers know it.

I have requested that Barry provide an update when he gets the spare time allocated from a busy schedule.

Robert, while the person in post number seven does indeed have a past, I do not think he is the problematic party here in terms of running the scam.

The email I sent the PayPal to is: [email protected]

If you know something else, I'm all ears.
The goal isn't to find Pantoja per se, it is to find the scammer. If he is not the scammer, and someone else is diverting funds through Pantoja or his email, then he should/could know the actual person.

I have one other name associated with that email, but have not posted it yet until I can find more information on them.

There is and I waited for Barry to confirm my suspicions. I would like him to post what he has when time allows him to do so (since I am not directly involved).

Great. If you all have additional undisclosed information at your disposal, that would explain a possible alternative conclusion. Once Barry has time, it would be great to see.

Update

Well, to speed things up, I've got my money back from paypal. I proved that I never received anything to any address connected to my paypal. Here is a screen shot the person I sent my paypal to. The person who duped me is in the light grey boxes and has a phone number of: 408-675-9810. I called it and of course no answer and is a CA phone number yet the person who I sent my paypal to shipped $350 Nike air jordans to the MS address. Jose from ladyluckcharmz might be a scammer also, but it's the person who scammed me(likely Kendrick Nuttall) is the one I was pissed at. Moral of the story, I'm definitely going to research ANYONE who approaches me when I'm posting a "wanted" ad. Cheap lesson.

Well having a screen shot of the exact address (201 Wiggins Road Apt.#10 Indianola,ms 38751) to Kendrick Nuttall sure makes a huge difference. This guy is hiding in plain sight. Keeps using the same address.

So... of his "recent" victims, who is going to step up and contact the police???

1. Adam Ernster was scammed on 3/13/16

2. Michael Cardell was scammed 4/20/16
201 Wiggins Road
what MS 38751
(619) 928-6187

3. Barry Lambert was scammed 4/27/16 (this thread)

Here is the police information:
Indianola Police Department
Address: 300 2nd St, Indianola, MS 38751
Phone: 662-887-1811
Fax: 662-887-2595

I just spoke to the police dept personally, that is how I got the fax number. Indianola is a small town, they already know who Kendrick Nuttall is. Only an actual "victim" can file a police report.

Here's the problem the way I see it...

I don't know the amounts of all the transactions with the other people he's scammed BUT it appears most are under $500 which I "think" is seen as petty by federal standards and there is soo much of this going on around the country that it falls on deaf ears. I was told he works for Fedex and contacted my local Fedex and spoke with a Nate who seemed to be genuinely interested in my story and mentioned if this guy is doing this, who knows what he's stealing from them?! I gave him my full name and phone number and do you think I got a call back? Nope.

If the local PD/prosecutor is taking an interest then they would be looking at violation(s) of state law not federal law, probably under this:
http://law.justia.com/codes/mississippi/2013/title-97/chapter-19/section-97-19-83

Make the report, I'm guessing if he's already on the radar of local LE they would love to hit him with anything possible.
