• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I got a message from two people the in the past couple of days warning me about an auction on Reptibid from Katie for Het Pied Females. They were both people who were selling het pieds that she contacted asking questions about their hets and explained she thought she'd gotten ripped off, then the auctions appeared on Reptibid since these people knew I'd been looking into getting a het pied female they were kind enough to warn me so now I'm passing on the warning. It seems she ended up with three "het pied females" from Raymond Harrison that she beleives aren't truely het pied females, but she is selling them on Reptibid and now Kingsnake as such. For anyone that is considering buying from her, I'd look into it carefully before doing handing over your money.

I Wouldn't Worry

The Reptibid Auction is closed, and didn't get a bid. Her story sounded a little mixed up. I can't imagine that anyone would have paid her price for them after reading the description. The ks ad which appears below looks like she thinks that it's an auction! I hope someone doesn't buy them and then come here in a year to cry about it!

She's changed her ads

It looks like shes selling them off as normals now as part of a big package with several snakes. I also noticed that there is another person also selling off a pair of snakes from Raymond Harrison. Wondering if the problem may really be with Raymond. Of course if these people think they've gotten a bad deal they shouldn't be passing it on. Just speculation at this point.

:uzi: It seems everyone is condeming this lady without any evidence or buyers who say they have been ripped off. I have purhased from her in the past and they were harrison balls. I am very satisfied with the quality of the balls I purchased from her. All were healthy ate welll, I have not proved them out yet but have a few that are currently gravid. I thought in this country we were inocent until proven guilty, give her a break. :hot:

BTW, look at the title of this thread. The word "Questionable" followed by several ?'s. Seems there are questions. Especially if she had some animals being sold as "hets" when she might have suspected otherwise and now is selling them as "normals". Seems questionable to me (at least).

It appears from Tosha's first post, that there may be some question about the validity of her hets. This forum is called the Board of Inquiry, or BOI. Her first post sounds like an inquiry to me. Most people who get condemned here usually bring it on theirselves. If the post is correct, then Katie herself had doubts about the bloodlines of her animals. If she did, and then tried to pass them as something that they might not be, I would call that fraud. Since you know Katie, why don't you email her about the existence of this thread and let her explain. It very well could be a misunderstanding. If it is, there are bigger fish to fry :>poke2<:

This is not a court of law. They have some speculative evidence, ie. apparently she suspected her hets may not be hets, and was inquiring about such, yet was still advertising them as hets. When "called out"? the ads were stopped and now she is apparently selling them as normal. Like I said that is in itself enough to be leary of the situation, or at least enought to go on, to research more. The title of this thread is Questionable? The info in the thread is of a questionable nature. No more, no less.

They are all back up on Reptibid as 100% hets again.
Now she is selling albino hets, clown hets, and pied hets.
All from Harrison.

I noticed if you buy the lot with buy it now you will get some extra snakes, including a gravid female. Does it really make since to give away a gravid snake? Why would you not keep that one?

Funny thing is... Katie is now selling on Reptibid a lg. group of Ball Pythons. They are practically identical to a group that she had for sale earlier this month. That group sold (on a two day auction???)to someone with the Username Steve49, and Steve49 left "glowing feedback" for Katie dba Extraordinaryreptiles. Could be a coincidence, but Katies silence is becoming deafening! Did she have two sets of Pythons, all hets, and all from Harrison? Really? Are you in fact Steve49? No? Is Katie going to show up here and answer the questions that have been asked? I don't think so... Tell you what, Since you know her, and jumped to her defense, Why don't you just get the answers from her and post in her behalf? Of course trhere COULD be a reasonable explanation for all of this. Defend her virtue, give us some clarification! :eatsmiley
 
Something is rather rotten here, it appears...there are a few instances where she would be correct in selling the animals as what they are, but it seems to be almost improbable...sounds like she is trying to run a scam.?

The only explanation is if Steve49 backed out of the deal, as they are exactly the same animals that were previously offered (including the 5 free males, and the extra female).

Does anyone know Mr. Harrison?

I also find it interesting that she wants money orders sent most any way BUT USPS.

I wonder why that could be. Maybe she's legit but that fishy smell is getting stronger.

Ohhhhh Katie, come out come out wherever you are. You got some splaining to do.
