    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I had ordered an adult female ball ptyhon from Ray over the phone per an ad on kingsnake. I was to recieve her on 11-3 05, when she didnt arrive i called him a couple times about this with no answer. Anyways after responding to my e-mail he said he held the shipment for a week because of the hurricane and i would recieve her the following week, which i did..The problem is its a male that looks like an import, Ive called him twice on this with no answer and he hasnt returned my e-mail on this matter as of yet..He stated when we were talking about the animal on the phone if i wasnt happy with her id recieve a full refund, now do ya think im happy about recieving a male??? and a week late without talkin to him for 2 weeks, due to him not returning my call and at least 4 messages i left on his machine. (except when i actually ordered the animal)..Thats the worst in communication if i ever saw one...Iguess some are just antisocial huh??? Also, most of us inquiring about these animals know what were doing with them and i guess some guys just think every customer is ignorant on what to recognize... :hehe:
 
You can file a claim with PayPal, FYI.

My wife did it on some items she bought on ebay and never recieved. Paypal reversed the charge and credited our PayPal account with the money.

It won't hurt to try that!!!

Ray is for sure NOT one of the good guys. I have other words for people who ship snakes via USPS too.
 
I am sure there are threads of way ray's shinanigans. He is quite known for misrepresenting animals. He won't make good so going to paypal is your best bet.

will paypal refund the money if he did recieve a package? i though they only did that if you did not recieve anything. that has been my experience with them. or will they refund if you recieve the wrong item? im not sure.

I believe that you are correct. I have had the same experience.
 
Paypal will probably refund, regardless of if the package was delivered or not.

You can not mention the live animals, just that the correct item (female ball python) was not received, which technically, it wasn't!!!

In the very least, it will force him to reply. At most, you will get a full refund.

Sometimes paypal is good for stuff, usually it's just a pain in the butt!

FYI Everyone,
Please check the BOI beforehand and do not support know bad guys who ship snakes by the post office and jeopardize all of us.

Thank you for not supporting those who ship snakes through the post office.
Plenty of great people to do business with instead of supporting the ones whom can't play by the rules and don't consider the welfare of the animals.
 
PayPal will not refund if you have received the shipment.

I had purchased a $40 bulb that arrived damaged, put a claim in with PayPal (after the company ignored me for a week) and they said since it wasn't through Ebay and I received the package, it wasn't their problem.
 
He shipped through DHL.

He contacted me and said he would refund me when i return the Male back to him...He swore she laid eggs last ear but when you probe a 1600g. snake and it goes 1.5 inches deep on both sides and 9 scales then its hard to believe its a female,,anyways its being returned with a promised refund...thanx everyone.. :bolt01:
 
Paypal refunded me part of the money for items I had bought. They can only refund you money if the person has it in their account if I'm not mistaken.

Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a refund.

No notation about even a partial refund. They were simply saying they wouldn't do it...
 
After recieving a message from Ray Torres I decided to relook at old threads. I have made a big mistake IMO. I am not sure about his shipping practices but when I saw the thread in my muddled mind I was thinking that Ray Torres was Ray Strickland. I apologize to you Ray Torres.

I didnt think i was bashing Ray but maybe i did just by voicing my opinion and sharing the details of my dealing with him..I probably shouldnt have shared my experience until everything was said and done and the final outcome reached....nor did i mean to mess with his rep. my appologies Ray, my intent was not to bash its just some of us have been screwed by folks before and we get a little edgy about things not going smooth and crisp... :bolt01:
 
Ray messed up his rep a long time ago all by himself.

I went over to Ray’s site and it appears he has changed his terms and his shipping practices with snakes since the last BOI thread. If true good for him. He was pretty firm in the past that he was doing nothing wrong. I guess he has rethought his position, which is a good thing.
