    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

craniifer question

I noticed that yu were advertising...

Blaberus craniifer (black death heads - Orin McMonigle line) - $3 each

...so is the Orin McMonigle line an individual? Do you have any other info on this line? I was curious since the solid black winged craniifer is the only species of roach that I currently raise.

Thanks

Hi John,
I breed two separate lines of black-winged Blaberus craniifer, one from Orin McMonigle and one from James Tuttle. While both are pure craniifer, the one from Orin is consistently darker.

Thanks Xelda

Thanks Xelda

Mine came from James Tuttle. I noticed that mine are the solid black winged lines but once in great while a black winged adult will show a slight brown around the middle of the wings. So far I am now down to only the Blaberus craniifer for a feeder species. If I decide stick with this species I might contact you in the future to see if you have any of your Orin McMonigle line of craniifer available. This would be to enhance my genetic lines by mixing the two lines.

I noticed that my line of craniifer are very nervous of the light and extremely active most all of the time. Very active and fast moving insects are more interesting to me than the slower species. It took me longer to get this species off of the ground than my other Blaberus species but starting with 150 nymphs I now have well over 1000. In fact I am getting ready to split them into two colonies.

Cya, :)

John
