    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

A little insider info....

I emailed this guy in Alabama, and asked if he meant $450, not $4500. He emailed me back and said, "Yes, $4500, if I had a Bumble Bee spider, would I laugh at him selling it for $45,000?"
I then saw him online, and IM him and we got to talking. He is not a bad guy, just very Ball Python Ignorant. He really does not understand genetics, and the Ball Market. I had a nice chat with him, seriously, and bottom line is this:

He put up the $4500 Normal ad to "piss" off the people who were hounding him on his other ads. He really has no intention of selling the 2400 gram female at all, obviously not at that price. So, bottom line, he put up some ads that were way off base, people(including me) emailed him about them, in a negative way, and he decided to put the $4500 grammer up as a troll.

looks like this site does not have as many people on it. And I do understand genetics. BUT WHAT it all boils down to is it's my dam snake I can post it for what I want, I bet if it was a PROVEN JUNGLE co-dom or dom gene then that would be too cheap ...right.....The fact is neither I nor any of you know what this snake holds....It is a Imported baby jungle like ball. Maybe it will prove to be dom or Co-dom since it is a African born baby WE don't know...just because all of the other jungles don't prove true doesn't mean this on won't...having said that,,,,,The snake was NEVER GOING to be SOLD as a Geneticly PROVEN animal. I just put the 1250.00 price on it as to NOT sell it.....I just wanted to find out what I suspected about it being a JUNGLE. Yea I have seen better looking jungles and worse ones also. Bottom line is I never thought anyone was gonna buy this snake...but then again I never thought fellow herpers would get so bent out of shape because I want 1250.00 for a snake, I think 45,000 for a snake is not worth it......takes a lot of babies to make that back. I know it's the same snake but then again 1250.00 is not the same as 45,000 now is it......GRIN...I guess you all will never see my point.

Wow, one more "name" on my still ever growing list!! So it was a typo?? I figured, but I would have edited that pretty quickly - unless you're doing this soley for entertainment purposes. You may be a nice guy but I'll be spending my money elsewhere...I don't think selling live animals is a "joke" and I'm seeing more and more jokes.

Nobody is getting bent out of shape, they're just laughing at you. I don't care what you try to sell a snake for but the manner that you have presented yourself on the Bob Clark Forum and now this one is pathetic.

David seems to be starved for attention. That is the only reason I can think of for him posting such ridiculous ads. He knows people are going to get ticked off when they see a possible scammer.
Pricing the snake at $1000 can be understood as just an ad put up in which you really don't want to sell the snake but if a decent offer came along, you would sell it. Pricing it at $4500 and going into BS about how much money that snake will make you by breeding it is just a scam where you are looking for someone who doesn't realize they will not make their money back by putting out that type of investment. You already wrote on the BC forum that "I never said WHEN they would make their money back". People post about you because you just can't be taken seriously. You have shown you have no ethics and are out for a quick buck from unsuspecting people.
Stop trying to compare your pricing to that of other breeders. They are selling PROVEN morphs that when bred with the same morph or with other morphs, WILL provide a return on their investment. The breeders you constantly quote are selling actual investment quality animals with proven genes. You are selling nothing but overpriced normal imports.
This type of advertising and responses to questioning will not help build your reputation.

BTW, when are you going to post the pics of your albino and pied and did you in fact sell the normal for $1000 or $1250, or NOTHING. You always seem to ignore those questions.
 
Well I was not gonna reply because the guy is entitled to price his snake at whatever he wants.


BUT

1. He does not answer the questions put forth.
2. He says he put the ads up to NOT sell the snake.
3. Then he sells the snake or so he claims
4. He says he put the ad up to see if the snake is a jungle or not.....he could have done that in a forum.
5. He name drops like its going out of style.
6. He does not know his morphs /genetics but calls himself an expert
 
Did anyone catch this ad Mr. Evans has posted? Now he has possible het for piebald farm raised babies for sale. Unbelievable!

I am offering a 2003 FEMALE 128 gram ball python. She has 2 full stripes going down the side of her belly. Her belly also has a yellowish tint. Could she be HET for something? who knows maybe piedbald. I was told she was farm hatched in Ghana Africa. She has some really nice 2 tone orange on her sides. I am asking 1500.00. This guy is a crook.
Farm hatched het pied? BS. That trait does not always mean that the snake is a het pied. It's just one thing that some people look for when choosing hets from a clutch. Hit or miss really. You really only know if a snake is a possible het if the parents are proven. This guy has NO CLUE what genetics that snake may or may not be carrying.
Once again he is looking for an ususpecting buyer to screw.
