In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

how was the scaleless gene transferred to corn snakes?

I remember hearing that the rat snake gave the scaleless gene to corn snakes, by hybridizing then breeding it true.. I was curious if anyone had any literature on that.

    Mochino and Orange Glow Retics

Hello, guys. I'm wondering if anyone can help me out a bit. I'm no big time breeder by any means, but I'm looking to expand my little project past the white/lavender/purple albinos and the blondes that I currently produce. The orange glows and mochinos are absolutely beautiful retics to me...

    Morphs with Genetic Health Issues

I'm collecting information on ball python morphs that might carry harmful or lethal genetics. Given that there are so many different morphs out there today, I think it would be easy for somebody who is uneducated to buy one and not know what they are getting into, which is why I'd like to spread...

Your opinion on Jaguar Carpet Pythons

Right now I'm looking for info on genes of reptiles which are either harmful or lethal. It is a topic that interests me and I'd like to learn as much as I can so I can write about it and share the info. I'm currently looking for info on Jaguar Carpet Pythons specifically, especially from those...

    lethal and deleterious genes

Out of the many reptiles being bred these days, I know that some species have morphs that have deleterious/defective genes (is that the right terminology?) and some lethal. The ones I know that either cause defects or are lethal are: Ball python: Spider, woma/pearl, desert Leopard gecko: Enigma...

New Mobile-Friendly Ball Python Morph Calculator

Hey friends, I wanted to share a new mobile-friendly ball python morph calculator that I just released. First, why would I create a NEW morph calculator when a few others already exist? 1. This one is mobile friendly. I could stop here. 2. If you're at a keyboard it's super-fast to directly...

    Recessive Genetic Help

Hello all, I am new to the snake breeding thing, and after extensive research I am still a bit confused: I have a male albino labyrinth burn and a female granite (red for some reason?) burn and I want to have a shot at some triple recessive offspring here. From what I understand, ALL their...

    Retic morphs and books

Now, I'm no stranger to owning retics at all, I've owned 2 large adults and a few younger ones, even currently. What I was curious about is learning more about morphs(since in the next few years I am thinking about possibly breeding) and for my own curiosity and if there were any good books...

    Wanted Yellow Ratsnake Genetics

Hello All, I'm wondering if any of you have any information on the genetics of whiteside yellow ratsnakes or bubblegum? I remember when white sides first came into the market some folks called them hypos. I know bubblegums had some black rat added much the way many albino yellow rats did. Also...

    Controversal Topic: Genetics Termonology

I stated in another thread that I will be launching a Ball Python version of CornsnakeMorphGallery.com (look for it the beginning of June!) and I find myself presented with a slight problem... Technically, quite a few of these ball python morphs are inappropriately being called co-dominant when...

    Info on Morph combos?

Is there a site I can check out that lists what X what = morph? You know, like pastel x pastel = super pastel. Or is this some great big secret that I'm the only one not privy too...:shrug01: I know some of the basics, but I'm looking for an extensive list, I guess. If anyone can help, I would...

Breeding Newbie asking some questions (we all have to start somewhere!)

Hey, So I have a 6 foot, 04 white group pastel female from Jesse Van Atta (great guy btw). I was debating breeding her once just for the experience, but I have only owned snakes as pets my entire life. If someone can point me in the right direction to a really good book that could help me, or...
