In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I doubt it's clutchmate will hatch since that egg got mold on one end and it's been more than a day...but here's the one that did hatch :)

from 2nd colony...mom is Aztec, father is Oliver

Wow, he's a cutie! I hope your other egg hatches for you. I've had some goofy looking eggs hatch before...so there is hope! :)

thanks...yeah...I'm still waiting on one from 5/5 and one from 4/18 (other clutchmate of that one hatched but think this one's infertile)

the 2nd of this clutch is sweating now...I only had that happen once before...with my 2 egg ever and it was dead inside...so not like I have high hopes...

on a side note I was very happily surprised when my new rubber boa baby ate for the first time last night

Your eggs don't normally sweat? Mine do all the time, right before they're about to hatch.

Have you tried candling the 4/18 egg?

That's awesome that your rubber boa ate! (Sorry, I bounce around from subject to subject.) I'm still working on my husband...trying to talk him into letting me get a snake. He's terrified of them and freaked out when I held a corn snake...yes, an itty-bitty corn snake at a reptile show. Lol. Oh well, can't have everything (but I'm sure going to try!). :)

thats awsome hope mine hatch one question...do u use an incubatr if you do does it have like a air conditioner and heater.cuz here in CA it is hot like 100 out side and like 85 inside .so i was wondering if it kept the right temperature you set it for, thanks and what a cute little baby crested...thanks jeff

I just use Tupperwares or Deli cups with holes in the top and perlite as the incubation medium. My house is never above 78 degrees, though, because I start to melt. Lol. Try to find a cooler area of your house to incubate the eggs in, you'd be amazed how different the temperature is in the corner of the closet or beneath a bathroom sink. :)

nope...only other one of mine that sweat wasn't good...

yeah, great about the boa...now to name her...good luck with your husband lol

I incubate at room temp...68-80....did have a couple days at about 85 when I ran out to get my a/c...
I use 2 parts vermiculite to one part water by weight in gladware sandwich size containers...6-7 holes poked in the top with a ball point pen...weight every so often to check weight to see if I need to add water back
