    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hope everyone has a happy New Year and 2010 brings better times then we have seen in 2009. Sure would be nice to get GOOD news every now and again, wouldn't it?
 
Yes it would and I hope this new decade is better than the last one. Happy New Year Fauna.
 
Fiji is the first country into the new year: at time of posting we're 9pm new year's day and it's all OK so far....

I'm hoping to get 4 tax refunds this year - that would be nice.
2009 just FLEW by...I know I'm getting old, but I'm not ready for the world to spin this fast (remember how long a year used to take? seemed like forever)

Yeah, when I was a kid, my grandfather once told me that the older you get, the faster time goes by. I didn't believe him at the time. That was back when an HOUR seemed like an eternity...
