I have 2 male Olives from 2019 that may make better pets than breeders.
The first male was a bit of a slow starter and would only eat chicks or quail for awhile. He spent last winter with me and I was able to get him switched over to thawed, unscented mice. He's been eating mice since early May. He's on the smaller side for a yearling, but is a sweet boy. I do not know if he will obtain typical adult size or end up on the smaller side. I suspect the latter.
I bet you didn't know a snake could smile!
OG2019-16M $475 + $60 shipping
The second male has also been sweet-natured. He is currently feeding on thawed chicks. I have gotten him to take a few mice over the last year, but not consistently. He has eaten a chick or quail every time offered, though.
OG2019-15M $475 + $60 shipping
Both are priced at a slightly lower price than this year's hatchlings only because of the smaller size or because of the preference for birds
