Your parents don't have very dark tails. They look more unicolor. That's not a bad thing, btw

Correct. That is why the local is specified. Many would pass them off as unicolor. I would rather be clear, so no one is unhappy with what they get.
Thanks Sam

they are also from the geographic range of subspecies unicolor (though D. melanurus subspecies are suspect) so i wouldn't call these black tails. pretty snakes. if i had more space i'd be picking up a pair.

Haha yeah I wouldn't be unhappy with any Drymarchon. I was just making sure you were on my plane of reasoning. My "unicolor" has a relatively dark tail. I would say it's even darker than both of the parents of your clutch here. Anyways, I'm definitely interested. I hate for my guy to have to wait another 3-4 years for a mate (he is 6) but I realize there aren't many options. I'll be in touch.

Sounds good. it is best to email me. I live out in the woods and do not have regular internet service. Emails make it to my phone however.

This is a two year old example from the same pairing. NFS. We have 5.3 available at this time.

There is a debate on what to call them, hence the locality. Most likely the same species with color variations due to habitat. Call them what you want. lol
