• Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Let me start by saying i have too much faith in humanity, and this was a dumb mistake.

I take in turtles and torts needing new homes. If i can help i always will.

Well, someone in Texas reached out to me looking to rehome 2 female eastern hermanns tortoise.

They explained that they were in the process of moving and needed to get rid of them.
for just $50.

Why not? Not a huge amount of money, but still money. The guy claims to have three kids and busy schedule. He went on; engaging consistently with me about the state of the world and his daily tasks.

Didn't think much of it, and like an idiot I didn't press for enough images as I didn't care about the animals condition as they were "Rescues" and everyone goes into quarantine. He kept saying he'd send over the tracking info, but tip-toed around it each time I'd ask.

This guy literally spoke with me until the moment the torts were supposed to arrive.

I live where FedEx headquarters are, so overnight packages always arrive promptly by 7 am. Then I put two and two together...

His response went from every 2 seconds to complete silence. I just don't understand putting so much theatrical energy into talking to me about dogs, kids, and the state of the world for $50, you'd think I'd just given him $10k😂. If I were a scammer, I'd take my cash and *crickets*

Well, I can't get my cash back, but i learned a valuable lesson. No hard feelings as some people are just desperate(still no excuse),but here's his info. Feel free to warn others.

Which I did and he then texted me trying to assure me he wasn’t a scam . He almost got me luckily cashapp refunded my money . Same phone number same cashapp and everything that you have posted . He told me his name was Brad Wilkinson though.

Yep, that's him. I plan on reaching out to admin and those with larger platforms to spread the word about him.

He also has another email. Seems we have a serial scammer. It be best to request images with your name and date on a sheet of paper moving forward.

Hey dude, just don't send money via zelle. This whole country is turning into a scam fest. Zelle is the worst thing to happen for merchant buyer relationships. Just use paypal and pay via credit card. If they insist on zelle, I would highly consider it being a scam. BTW, I lost faith in humanity in people in this country long before you first mentioned this and I rest my case with this feeling.
