Well, maybe not a gazillion, but a lot of them. One of these days I'll have to round a bunch of them up and take them to the fish store.
I have groups of 6 or 7 babies, not sure if they are siblings or just the same size. They do seem to segregate by size, not just the teeny ones who might be eaten by the adults, but the half inch and three quarter inch sizes seem to stay in their own groups.
They are interesting cichlids, pretty, and fairly peaceful for cichlids. Notable too, they are mouth breeders.
They are amazingly prolific.
