In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This guy was captive bred and raised in tampa.
He liked going out side for the pics.
So tame that he would never 'hood up" in anger.
I think he was 2 or so years old. :hehe:
Super fat rodent feeder !
you guys like king cobras?

What happened to him? You must really know your animals well to be handling him like that. Beautiful animal......

A friends

I just took the pics.
but he was and must still be a great snake to have as a pet.
A tribute to captive breeding.
no comparison ot a wild caught king.
I will let you know if they are or were in my collection.
most of my pics are.
sorry for not being clear on thAt
have fun got to get to the old grindstone.
later :bolt01:

Tame or not, I'd be hesitant to state that any venomous is tame or friendly. I mean, we aren't dealing with the Einsteins of the animal world here, and while O. hannah may show a degree of intelligence that is superior to other snakes, they still are mainly instinctual animals and could get startled or defensive for any number of reasons.

Not trying to preach against freehandling (I know you SI Bud, but does your friend? And would you have an immunity to hannah venom anyway?), but it is risky and unneccesary. At least he was wearing gloves, LOL...

good point

well hanna venom is very weak just a lot of it
yea the gloves help but then again you cannot depend on them either.
I guess it all comes down to you must know what your doing.
not everyone can be rocket scientists. :hehe:
There are a lot of examples of bad free handlers with bad stories.
there are a few good freehandlers.
I am not promoting either .
