In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

1. With the popularity of reptiles and the growth of shows thought out the country does anyone know of a show in the state of Minnesota?

2. If you are a vendor and would like to be part of a show in Minnesota email me with your information and preference as to a one or two day event.

We'll be interested in doing a show in Minnesota next year... And would also like to help coordinate.

Gotta wait for us to move back up that way first though ;-)

A one day show is usually better... Two day shows end up being slow the second day, with little left to offer. There's a million other reasons to do a one-day show, but I'll leave that for later.

Uh...where is here?

I'd love to see some shows closer to me......not much around here.

Minnesota show

This year's Midwest Reptile Symposium is in Minneapolis, MN. Oct. 22nd will have speakers and the sale is the 23rd. Jodi Aherns (groundgeckofreak.com) is coordinating the sale for the Minnesota Herp. Society. I'd love to see an annual sale in Mn., but it isn't easy to get enough people involved from the society to hold one. Maybe someone will want to promote a show themselves? I think there are plenty of opportunities here, but we all know it isn't easy to put a great show together. Brian P's NARBC shows are fantastic and that sets the bar high.

one bummer on the show

The Vikings vs the Packers game is Oct 23rd in Minneapolis - so it may affect show traffic considerably, especially since it is a noon game.

LOL, duh Mark, I assumed Minnesota, but there's a lot of Minnesota to drive around lost in while looking for it! ;)

Any more info on the sale on the 23rd? I'd love to go, but man, the traffic to get there if the Packers are playing the Vikes would be horrendous, lol....

Minnesota game traffic

The show is at the Thunderbird Convention Center just "across the street" from the Mall of America - the game is at noon in downtown Minneapolis. The traffic when the game ends will be jammed up on the interstates 494,94 and 35. I worry more about the attendance for the show since the game will run from noon til 3.

Hm.....well, that maybe wouldn't be so bad for traffic directly around the show then! Of course, I take 35 up to 494 to get there though, lol.....do you have times for the show? Or a website with more info?

So no show in MN this year or in 2008???
