    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a female sinaloan milksnake that is about a year old. she was growing very well and she's now 60cm long. she use to ate both frozen and live food and was attacing the prey quickly. but before 2 months ago she stop eating for 3 weeks and was going in to shed. after she got out of the shed she ate 3 meals of live fuzzy mouses, and that only after i put her in a small box and closed the light (she didn't jump on the prey like before, she waited for some hours and then she will only killed and ate them). on the last time i gave her frozen food becuse i run out of live prey. and she didn't show no intrest.
i wanted to ask you guys if someone have an idea on how to get her response to food as strongly as she was doing before?

sometimes it happens, and often is due to the season change. anyway, first of all be sure that she is free of intestinal parasites, and give her always quality frozen preys
 
Are you CERTAIN it's a female? If it's a male it's not uncommon for them to go off feed this time of year. I'd verifiy sex and then see what you can do.

I breed a few and sometimes they decide, out of the blue, that they don't want mice anymore and will only eat rat pinks. Then some time later, they switch back. So you might try rat pinks too. The only drawback to rat pinks is that sometimes my Sinaloans REALLY like them and don't want to switch back to mice.

thank you guys.. im almost sure that she is a female. and im happy that she is eating again but its look wierd to me that she is not jumping on the prey in the sec she see him like she use to. i hope to have some more birth of rats soon and to try a live one again.
i dont know if its say anything but i have a cali king right next to her and she is eating with out any problems (i think she is eating for them both this monster lol :)
do u think braining to pinkey will help?

Some snakes mellow out as they get older. It can also be a seasonal thing. As long as she's eating, I wouldn't worry about how hard she's nailing them.
