In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ordered two blizzard leopard geckos from them. The geckos were in perfect health, but these reasons lead me to never buy from them again:

~No one answered the phone, on countless times i had called them, on different days as well.

~The pictures of the blizzard were played up, so that the geckos were sky blue. So they lied about the product they were selling. The geckos were a white color with shades of yellow to them, far from blue at all.

~The invoice stated that the lizards were shipped the 29th of May, i recieved the leopards on June 2nd, when i payed for overnight shipping.

It may have just been me who had these bad experiances with AAA, but thats a lot of things gone wrong to happen to one order. I also will not be buying from them again.

Um, the 29th of May (I am assuming of 2004) was a Saturday. Now if you ordered him late in the week or on that Saturday then they wouldn't ship until the 1st of June (due to the holiday). They arrived on June 2nd, that's overnight shipping.

Do you have the pics from them that were played up AND pics after arrival that could be posted so everyone can see the difference?

Desire,

Could you post a pictures of the geckos you received?

Thanks.

glad to see your geckos arrived...

When you posted your query on the forums on KS, several people (including myself) had told you they wouldn't be blue. Yes, I feel the ad was misleading, but I would recommend doing a search on the BOI (as I also put in my response to your forum post) from now on & listen to what is said in response. Are the geckos otherwise healthy? If so, I think $30 is a fair price. Sorry if I come off as being harsh, not meant that way, but a blue gecko would be rare indeed & worth way more than $30!

lol...

Yeah...what was that one going for again? If we breed the red with blue we should get purple offspring.

Bad photoshop job on their part. Did you ask them if they were blue? If you did and they said they were in fact blue, then you have a solid complaint but if you go thru their site, there are a lot pics with funky colors.
I wish you luck trying to get a refund or replacement but I doubt you will ever find blizzards that are blue.
Post some pics of what the ones look like that you were sent so they can be compared to what they advertise.

I stress over getting coloration right on photos for our website. I can see that there has to be some leniency due to factors such as lighting, computer/monitor settings, camera issues etc. (I've worked with all to get proper representation and it can be difficult especially with white/nearly white animals) but that is BLUE. Either AAA's computer/camera is completely shot (and in need of replacement) or that is a doctored photo, either way it shouldn't be used to sell those lizards.

I agree. That photo and the one of the blue RTB's should not be used.

I can get pictures soon, once i take a few.

I understand you told me that they wouldn't be blue, but i still consider it fake advertising. Because thats not the product i recieved. Now someone who is into breeding of leopard geckos and is more framiliar with the morphs could have said hand down those weren't true blues, but the average customer (like myself) is going to go "wow blue geckos, awesome!" And thats what happened. I believe i have a right to post a negative rating on here for playing up the picture and etc.

As far as the health of the leopards, both have nice fat tails, but one does have internal parasites...pretty easy to cure but its still not 100 percent healthy.

I think the main thing that ticked me off is when i e-mailed them asking when they were going to ship, and called them Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday and never got an answer.

Pictures i will try to have up tonight or tmw..

You do have a point about the

misleading picture, I agree. They need to do something about their ads. I am glad your geckos seem to be healthy (except for the parasite issue, which I would bring to thier attention!) But as always it is "buyer beware", if it seems to be too good.... once you heard things about these geckos you probably should have waited to make your purchase until after you could talk to them to find out the true color of these geckos. Then I don't think you would have been as dissatisfied with your purchase. I hope you don't love them any less because they aren't blue?

Okay i got some pictures:

Let me know if that url doesn't work...

I still love them to pieces, but this being my first leap into leopard morphs i didn't expect anything else for them to be blue, so i had no reason to ask them. Then as i read up on blizzards, i realized i never saw another one that color. So then i got supicious and asked about it. Turns out there is no leopard gecko that color, and by then i had already ordered them.

I am just getting into the reptile world, and this was a really bad way to start it. First online purchase and the like, and i knew i should be cautious of individual sellers, but when your a company i guess i just expected a bit more honesty.

I really don't think i can do much, since i never got a reply phone or e-mail wise from AAA, other than not give them my support of service again. And i'm letting everyone else know about my bad experiance just as a caution when ordering from them, that the pic MAY be played with.

Desiré,

Those are nice looking blizzards. In one of the pictures there is some blue in the heads of both, did you take that picture too?

Regards.

Well, they both have blueish black right above their eyes, but other than that not really. One is darker (Akela) than the other (vegas) ...Akela is like a dark slate color with yellow bumps and Vegas is a lot lighter in color than Akela, and has a more yellowish...hue i wanna say to him. But hes more of a lighter grey.

After i took these pictures, Vegas when putting him back hissed and bite me as the final f*ck you,

But yes i took all 4 of those pictures.

I don't think they doctored the picture. Look at the substrate. IMHO, it's the flash light that gave the gecko the blue color. Look at the tail of one picture you took, where the flash hit it - it's blue
