    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

OK heres the thing you know those metal shelve you see in like warehouses well i have a chance to buy some 220 of them to be exact there 8 feet tall 2 feet deep and there is 4 shelves per unit what i was thinking about doing is buy them and then convert them into stacked enclosures ,do you think it would work ?has anyone done this before? i hate to shove out 1000 dollars for them to find out it wont work also it has metal shelves and i was wondering if i use the shelves would the metal get to hot ? or can i regulate it enough to work ?any feed back would help i get rather bored here so everything i see now i think how can i use them for my snakes ..thanks

Thinking about things to use for your snakes, i do the same thing!! Always looking at stuff at wal-mart thinking "How could i keep a snake in there without it escaping"

I am almost sure people have done that before, but it would take a bit of lumber and glass/plexiglass. Would make for alot of cheap enclosures though, so i'd say what do you have to lose (besides a grand), but if you are able to do it, and KNOW you can make them into something, then by all means rock on bud.

Im pretty sure you'll be ok with regulating them. I wouldnt allow the snakes to directly touch the metal. I would probably put a layer of wood down for where the wood lays.

yeah i figured i would need some wood mostly for framing a door i figure if i need much more wood on this thing i should just use only wood ,I'm going to see if i can maybe just pick up acouple of them at first to see what i can do ,if it works out ill take them all .that will be 220 units four shelves per unit so something like 880 separate enclosures wow don't think i would need that many ..lol but never know if i have them might as well fill them .thanks Chris for the suggestion never thought about just placing a piece of wood down

The shelving Idea seems like a good one at the time :rofl: I tried it once ......but by the time you get it to look the way you want it, you realize you could of built a cage, and save the original investment of the shelving.on another note if you cash I have Boas...... :rofl:
