In order of importance I care about activity level, appearance, length, friendliness.
Activity level - I want a snake that’s as active as a colubrid, but I want a boa. Obviously not a thing, but I know there is some natural variance in a litter. So, along that bell curve, I want one of the most active boas of a litter. But not so active that it’s overly flighty or aggressive.
Appearance - high contrast with blacks on a lightly tanned milky color (not too yellow), with caramels mixed into the saddles, and a bright orange/red tail. here are some examples:
Length - I’m shooting for a full grown length around 6ft. I have a 4X2X2 enclosure and I hope that will be his forever home. I know this will mostly limit me to male Boa Imperators. But I’m open to Boa Constrictor and females as well, as long as they’re on the smaller end of the bell curve.
And I don’t want a defensive boa. Preferably not too head shy either
Age doesn’t matter.
