    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ad Irony

They are being run through Google Adsense. They are paying for those ad when you click on them. Honestly revenue has been so low since I did this transition and especially when I cut out some of the ads that Adsense was putting here that while necessarily running two servers is putting this site in the red. Hopefully I can drop that old server soon, otherwise we are going to be having some problems with this site remaining financially viable.
 
Not a complaint but a little chuckle. I went to Zenni website to look at eye frames as I need to get a couple pairs before I retire. 30 years my last pair of glasses. Anyway now when I come here there are 100's of pairs of glasses plastered on front page, lol.
 
Heck, one day recently I noticed I was running low on Ricola cough drops. I didn't say it or search for it or anything. And somehow ads for Ricola cough drops started showing up. Figure that one out.....
