    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What kind racks and size tubs do you use for your adults? I like the idea of having a large enough tub and being able to breed them in the same tub. Thanks!

I personally use 41q sterilite. They are plenty big enough for a full grown girl and breeding size male.

I use CB70s for adult females, and Iris sweaterboxes (32 quart I think?) for adult males.

I had my larger girls in 41 qt tubs and they stopped eating. They wedged themselves into them and just stopped. I put them back in 32 qt. tubs and they eat like clockwork.

I have hides in all of my tubs. I know some people don't use hides with tubs/racks, but I like to provide them anyways and they are always used. Even the snakes that do not go in them like to wedge themselves on top of them or beside them against the tub.

That happened on my end as well, I now have my females in 32qts and my males in 28qt, both sterelite.

I keep most of my females in CB70 or 41qts as well. Most of them eat fine. If they dont feed well in there I will move them to a 32qt. I have had this happen on occasion. The females I keep in the smaller tubs are moved into the 41 for breeding tho. I have had bad luck in the past breeding in smaller tubs. Ever since I started doing it this way I have had no problems.

For the most part as most have said I use CB-70's for my breeder girls and V-35 tubs for our males and grow out for females until they get over 1500 grams. I do have one male ball python in a CB-70, but he is 3000+ grams. I have two other large males I am considering moving up, because they are around 1800 grams.

I really like the freedom breeder tubs with built in water bowl holders so they dont spill. They have all sizes but I use the cb70 style from freedom breeder. They are only a couple bucks more then the iris.

If you don't have a heated room open racks are not a good idea, heat does not hold well if you can keep your room 82 and up u will be ok with a open style rack
