    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

We bought a 100 watt Powersun bulb and decided to put it on our little girls this afternoon for the first time. We clamped it in place 19 inches above them. The two girls are about 11 inches long and behaved very differently after being under the light for less than 45 minutes. The orange girl behaved normally, while the hypo became very aggressive/possessive. She was brilliantly colored, puffed up and opened her mouth as wide as she possibly could. She only acted this way when we tried to pick her up. There was no problem when the orange girl laid with her under the light. When she was picked up, she refused to sit still. When we removed the light, she returned to normal after a couple of minutes. What happens to the hypo when she is under the light? Why does it not effect the orange girl?

I have never heard of a specific light bulb causing aggression in a dragon. I really don't see how that would be possible but who knows......

Did you check your temps after adding the new bulb? I know when dragons get overheated they aren't always smart enough to move somewhere else to cool down. When they do get overheated they get really spastic and jump and run around like crazy. It's like taking a good dose of speed. I have seen in the younger ones they will put on a lil attitude too Just like your describing. :) Just sounds as if she got a bit too warm on ya.
