    =====================

    I am still waiting on my developer to finish up on the Classifieds Control Panel so I can use it to encourage members into becoming paying members. Google Adsense has become a real burden on the viewing of this site, but honestly it is the ONLY source of income now that keeps it afloat. I tried offering disabling the ads being viewed by paying members, but apparently that is not enough incentive. Quite frankly, Google Adsense has dropped down to where it barely brings in enough daily to match even a single paid member per day. But it still gets the bills paid. But at what cost?

    So even without the classifieds control panel being complete, I believe I am going to have to disable those Google ads completely and likely disable some options here that have been free since going to the new platform. Like classified ad bumping, member name changes, and anything else I can use to encourage this site to be supported by the members instead of the Google Adsense ads.

    But there is risk involved. I will not pay out of pocket for very long during this last ditch experimental effort. If I find that the membership does not want to support this site with memberships, then I cannot support your being able to post your classified ads here for free. No, I am not intending to start charging for your posting ads here. I will just shut the site down and that will be it. I will be done with FaunaClassifieds. I certainly don't need this, and can live the rest of my life just fine without it. If I see that no one else really wants it to survive neither, then so be it. It goes away and you all can just go elsewhere to advertise your animals and merchandise.

    Not sure when this will take place, and I don't intend to give any further warning concerning the disabling of the Google Adsense. Just as there probably won't be any warning if I decide to close down this site. You will just come here and there will be some sort of message that the site is gone, and you have a nice day.

    I have been trying to make a go of this site for a very long time. And quite frankly, I am just tired of trying. I had hoped that enough people would be willing to help me help you all have a free outlet to offer your stuff for sale. But every year I see less and less people coming to this site, much less supporting it financially. That is fine. I tried. I retired the SerpenCo business about 14 years ago, so retiring out of this business completely is not that big if a step for me, nor will it be especially painful to do. When I was in Thailand, I did not check in here for three weeks. I didn't miss it even a little bit. So if you all want it to remain, it will be in your hands. I really don't care either way.

    =====================
    Some people have indicated that finding the method to contribute is rather difficult. And I have to admit, that it is not all that obvious. So to help, here is a thread to help as a quide. How to become a contributing member of FaunaClassifieds.

    And for the record, I will be shutting down the Google Adsense ads on January 1, 2025.

I had posted that the top of my beardie cage where the fixture was installed was turning brown and melting..Ali explained that they are now installing nylon spacers so the ceramic doesnt heat up too much..i have had my cage for 2 yrs..They are sending me a brand new top as well as the spacers for my other cage.

After 2 yrs this derserves much praise and shows how much they care about thier product and customers.
I am thrilled and recommed AP for anyone looking for quality cages.

It doesn't surprise me at all that AP stepped up and took care of the problem. They are fantastic and have always taken care of me in the past. Great company and great product for the price.

I have to chime in and say they are awesome.
I called after getting a big order in the day before Thanksgiving and needed some help with a few of the pieces Mark talked me through what he could(he was out running around) then called me back from the shop later and walked me through the rest.Then a couple of days later I realized that one of my locks was a little out of whack so I called to see if they wanted me to send it back and then replace it they told me no problem we will just send one out and you can do whatever with the other one.
Sure enough a few days later I had another in the mail.
Great people all the way around.

Nobody has better customer service than AP. I have had problems with 2 heat cables and they have cheerfully repalced them at no cost each time. Their racks are top-notch and their service is second to none.

I had received a economy rack used from someone and twice had the cable quit. I called them to find out how much a new cable would be and told them I bought the rack used. Both times they sent me a new cable at no cost to me. I was just looking here to see if anyone used their cages. I need 6 big cages made and my decision on who to give my business was made with the first phone call.

I have their racks and am impressed with their cages. The design are superior to others in my opinion. Built in locks, good heat tape placement, thermostat probe slot, and built in litter dams make these one of the best.

Animal Plastics is awesome..Saw them and their racks last weekend at the NARBC.. Nothing but good things to say from me...:yesnod:

I have to chime in too, they have absolutely great customer service. I had bought 2 racks from them almost a year ago. 6 months after I bought them, my heat ropes burnt out. I called them up, they sent out new ones that same day. in Jan. one of them broke again, they sent me out another replacement saying they've been having problems with them and are looking into another company. 2 days ago the other one burnt out. I called them up, worried b/c they only seem to last 6 months and they said that each heat rope they send out has a warrenty of 1 year. I am deffinatly buying my racks from them

I love the customer service these guys offer. I ordered 4 more racks from them and asked what their lead time was going to be. In the past the waits have been horrible at times. Ali said 4 to 5 weeks this time. And then today, just a day or two past 4 weeks, I get notice that 7 boxes are on their way to me via FedEx. :D I have every confidence that these will be perfect and if not, they'll take care of me. Ali even emailed last week and offered a shipping discount if I preferred a pallet via tailgate delivery. I told her I would rather have a big burly guy to drag them to the front door for me but I appreciated the offer. I'll save the hernia for when I'm dragging the parts down to the basement to put them together.

Now, who wants to come help me put them together and then reorganize the snake room? :rofl:

awesome news

I dont know how well their racks are,I have 2 economy racks cumn
as far as cs I called and they are awesome people to do business with
just my .02

I love their products! I have one hatchling rack, and four stackable cages currently. I will be buying more when I get more money saved up for them.

When I ordered my 3rd stackable, I wanted to get a pop-in, pop-out divider so that I could house two smaller snakes until they grew larger. Ali recommended that we make the divider semi-permanent since I planned to use it divided for at least a year or so. She wanted to make sure that I was getting what I would need out of their product, and that is stellar customer service in my opinion.

I would highly recommend Animal Plastics to anyone. Great product and stellar customer service!
