Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was just wondering if anyone has purchased any geckos from her? She has some beautiful leos at killer prices. I might order some snow leos and a tangerine as well. Any feedback would be great. Thanks

Shelly was my partner in panther chameleons, and we still have
have a new morph of panther. I have been able to trust her
with thousands of dollars of money she had collected on the
sale of my panther chameleons. She is is VERY experienced with
Geckos, and I know that customer satisfaction is first and foremost with her. You will not find a more HONEST person in
the reptile trade. I am sure that you can buy from her with
confidence!:)

Thanks

This is why the BOI is here. Not just to inform eveyone about the scammers. But to give recognition to the good people out there that deserve it. I just thought I would ask before ordering as you never know. I am alot more comfortable now even if only 1 person has posted that is still 1 happy person. With nothing but the best words about her. She will be getting my bussiness. Thanks for the info:^)

I received a wonderfully bright female baby SHT baldy leo, named Curly Sue, from Shelly two weeks ago and this baby is sweet! Plus, Shelly has been very helpful and free about answering any questions I had in the care and raising of my baby, even helping me in the future breeding of my baby! Shelly is a real people person and seems to truley enjoy talking with other reptile and amphibian enthusiast. I would get some more from her for sure!! In fact, I plan on getting a male SHT leo from her soon too. Next year I plan on getting some of her snows as theses are truley awesome. Shelly has been nothing but great in everything I have bought from her. In the past (five or six months ago) I bought several chameleons from her that are out of this world and are all doing very well. I now have several batches of panther eggs that are all doing great! 150 eggs all together!! The females are in excellent shape and health, and all are showing signs for another batch of eggs. Shelly has always sold her animals lower than market. It is a reflection of her love for these wonderful animals to make them affordable for anyone. Especailly when you consider how much set-up and supplies cost for their care. It's truley nice to finally find someone that is more interested in the quality of care and the love for what they do than the quanity and price of an animal. This is also true for her customer care. Shelly is one of the best their is out there!

Beautiful

Nice Chameleon. I was thinking about getting a chameleon but I hear they are kind of hard to care for. But thats a nice chameleon.

How much would a pair of Panthers cost me? I may get a pair of them instead of leos. I realy like chameleons I just always thought they were difficult to care for.

Geckokreeper,

Chameleons are alot more difficult than Geckos. Prices vary from
$200 on up, depending upon what locale they are from. Do alot
of research on set-up and husbandry, before purchasing one.
The pic that projectpardalis posted, is of a W/C Ambilobe that he
purchased from Shelly awhile back. You might want to stick with
Geckos for right now, but Shelly can help you either way. If you
do decide to get a chameleon, be sure and start off with a CB.

Good Luck,

Cost

It all depends on the local for the most part and sometimes, but rarely, the cost can be a refection of a very rare color morph. I have seen Panther Chameleons for as low as $200.00 to as high as almost $700.00 each. Of course age of the panther has a lot to do with the price tag as well but not all of the time. And, as a general rule of thumb a CB panther is going to be higher over all than a wild caught. However, a CB will be much easier to care for, especially for the beginner, than a wild caught - usually. Here is a Pic of my Curly Sue from Shelly. Shelly was not going to part with her because of the curl in her tail but I wanted her for the curl in her tail. She's great! I can hold her without too much fuss and her color will keep getting brighter as she gets older.

CB Panther

I agree with Lane. Anyone who is even considering on buying a panther or any animal should read, read, and read. There are always 'the good, the bad, and the ugly' in any species. A good breeder can provide a wealth of information but you should also do research and buy a good book for reference. You should also find a reptile Vet that knows at least a little about chameleons. Here is a Pic of one of my CB panthers.

Nice leo. There is somone selling a pair of Abanja panther chameleons in my local recycler for $450. There is also an ad for a Suarez and a Nosey Be and they are both $300 ea. How can I tell if they are captive or wild caught. I would prefer to see them in peron before buying. It seems like they could just say they are CB when they are actully WC. This is why I think it might be better to buy from a reputable breeder. I love they way the chams eyes look and their hands and everything about them. I am going to do more research on them before I get some. Are the eggs hard to incubate? I think somone said they have like 50+ eggs per clutch. What other chameleons are good and fairly easy to care for ? I also like the Jacksons but the colors are not as great. Thanks for all the info.

forgot to mention

I forgot to mention the price of the CB panther I put up here. He cost me $575.00 for a 6 month old and he would of been alot more if it were not for the tail nip that he has and thats still with out shipping. A female of this same type of color morph and age cost me $600.00 with out shipping.

I got this big guy from Shelly and he is a wild caught. It takes a lot of time and work to make a wild caught healthy if they came in sick. Shelly did some overtime on this guy to get these healthy results. He was just over shedding his skin when this was taken so he's a little flaky and it's very hard to capture the true colors that he has but he is one very sexy bright panther!

Panther chameleons

A average size clutch for the panthers, is around 20 to 30 eggs.
They are not very hard to incubate, but you do need to maintain
proper temps and moisture. Another VERY reputable breeder is
John Lucas of Chameleon Paradise. I believe that his web-site
is: www.chameleonparadise.com . He has some nice Ambilobes,
that are not too expensive. He will also take the time to help you.
He also sells silkworms, etc. He is another very honest reptile
breeder, but he only does panther chameleons. Shelly of Lizard
Lair is your best bet for geckos, she has some really outstanding
stuff! Hope this info helps.
