    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Any ideas for arboreal display tanks?

I'm about to start sketching ideas for a display tank, and would love to see any design ideas/plans or photos of actual tanks anyone feels like sharing for inspiration.

Here are my basic requirements:

To house 5 semi-arboreal Candoia bibroni bibroni (Fiji Boa), adults, all about 1m 50 (5') might grow to 2m (6') in time, housed as 2 separate groups by sex (2 females, 3 males), so need split tank or 2 tanks to stand very closely together (have limited space)

Do not need to worry about temp or humidity as tank is in open air room in their natural conditions (makes life VERY simple)

These snakes spend some of their time under floor hides and some of their time on high branches. They are very active at night and like to have a lot of space to move around in. They also like to bathe so need reasonable floor or shelf space for bathing bowls and multiple hides.

Space available up to 2m/6'tall, about the same wide and maybe 1m/3'deep

Here is the tank they are currently in, made of plywood, perspex and garden shade cloth. I want something a bit nicer to look at (it's in my living room), but need to separate the sexes.

All ideas gratefully accepted!
