Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

First of all, this is just an inquiry. Has anyone has done business with Rich Kensinger of Colorado? He has a snake listed on KS that I want, but until I find that he's trustworthy, I'm not willing to take the chance. I hate being like that, but well....I'm sure anyone that's taken time to read much of anything on the BOI can relate!

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
 
Yeah, I've done business with him in as far as the local reptile shop he works for is concerned. Never done a personal transactions with him. Not sure I ever would, not because of any negative reason, but only because he's not selling what I'm interested in. I would say that you will most likely have no problems with him.
 
I've known Rich personally for ten years. He is an honest, stand-up guy and produces really nice animals.
 
I just purchased a male pastel lesser het piebald ball python from Rich. I am very pleased with the snake and how the transaction took place. The snake was packaged well and shipped when agreed.

I would not hesitate to purchase from Rich in the future.

I picked up an Albino Ball Python from Rich a couple of years ago great guy to do business with.
 
I have known Rich for over 25 years. Rich and I have bought, sold, and traded numerous snakes from each other. Rich takes excellent care of his collection and you will not be disappointed if you deal with him.

Okay, I'm gonna clarify something here, on the account that there has been some confusion about my comment on Rich made above.

I don't have anything against Rich. He's always done good business with me at the Scales 'n Tails North store. I've never done business with him as far as Ball Pythons go, because I don't really care for Ball Pythons. Rich knows I don't care for Ball Pythons. But I will tell you, and Rich knows this is true because I've told him this at the last Rocky Mountain Reptile Expo, that he breeds some pretty interesting and awesome looking BPs. I'm a colubrid person, always have been, always will be. This obsession with BPs makes about as much sense to me as square wheels.

Additionally, I'm not in the habit of writing glowing reviews about people if I haven't done actual personal business with them. I've only had dealings with Rich in a retail environment. And as I mentioned, those experiences were always positive.

Now, I'm not sure how Rich got the idea that what I wrote was negative. If it is because he read it and took it that way, then he has my apologies. I'll be stopping by the store to clear this up with him at my soonest possible convenience. If he got this impression because someone told him I was trying to knock him down, then I feel sorry for that person because they've obviously got nothing better to do than gossip and cause drama.

I hope that clears things up for everyone.
 
I am a very happy customer of Rich's. I bought a male pastel yellowbelly, and a female yellowbelly from him a couple of months ago. They are amazing ! his pastel yellowbellies are insane in coloration. ask him about his female that he doesnt want to sell :)
 
You can buy from Rich with confidence. He's a stand up guy with quality animals and he takes great pride and care of his collection. I have done bussiness with Rich and bought animals from him over a number of years now and have nothing but postive things to say about him and his animals.
 
I bought a 1.2 trio of ball pythons from Rich at the beginning of the year and the transaction was awesome!! Definitely a great guy to buy from!!
 
Made a trade with Rich last month........He is a man of his word.....NO WORRIES
 
I bought a beautiful lesser female from him and she arrived today better than ever. Transaction was smooth and very professional, got a record of her feedings and shed and hatch dates along with genetics.
