    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Apt Fire

Thank you very much for the information Steve, I greatly appreciate it. Again, thank everyone for the love and support I have been receiving, it is greatly helping me through this to know there is so much support out there within the community.

During the fire the incubator with 2 eggs incubating got up to at least 105 degees inside, this is what I saw the temp reading at when I was allowed in. They still candle good and have been doing fine the past week. I am obviously going to leave them alone and see how it plays out but what side effects can be caused by such severe temp spikes? In your opinion do you think the babies inside will hatch out fine?

Last year I had a clutch in the incubator and the probe on my thermostat got unplugged. When I got home that afternoon the thermometer was reading 101 degrees and I'm not really sure how long it was that hot in there. I opened the incubator to let it cool down and left the eggs in there, sure that they wouldn't make it, but all seven hatched and were perfectly fine. I would definitely not count them out just yet. Best of luck with them.

Sorry to hear that man. Thank god it wasn't worse. Was this the new THG Korean product? When did you buy this specific heat tape from reptile basics?
