After reading Eliezer's post (on another thread) about the Chondro he sold to Neil Gubitz, then sold to Alex - I went back tonight through all my recent correspondance with Tim Morris on the matter and wondered that I may have misread Tim's comments on the pic of the sire and dam that I sent him... which apparently Eliezer provided to Neil along with a pedigree.  

In his original correspondance to me Tim said he did not recognize the female in the pic (was a jpg with two pics, one of the male alone, the other of two snakes together), and he speculated that Eliezer was probably just trying to demonstrate what the yearling might end up looking like by showing a blueish female.  I took this to mean Tim recognized the male but not the female, which sounded fishy to me.  

Tonight I re-contacted Tim for further clarification and I re-sent the pics of the supposed Sire and Dam of Alex's new yearling snake.  It turns out Tim did not recognize the female originally because he did not see the second pic in the jpg attachment (he was at work first time around and was in a rush...said he would look at it again when he got home and get back to me but never did).  

A few minutes ago I heard back from Tim and having now seen both pics including the one with the female - he confirmed she is in fact one of his breeders (which I produced but haven't seen in years).  This verifies everything Eliezer stated about the animals, and I was wrong stating Tim did not recognize the Dam (he just did not see it), and therefore to question that Eliezer (or perhaps someone else for all I knew) was pulling a fast one just to make the sale.  For this I offer Eliezer a public apology.

Contrary to Eliezer's expressed opinion that I am out to discredit his name...I am not - never have been.  I just do not care to do business with him for reasons of which he is fully aware...and I find no purpose in dragging all that up in detail now.  

Reality is I did not have to post this correction / apology and could easily have left both my "findings" post and Eliezer's response post on Neil's thread as is.  I am also posting this apology to Eliezer on the now infamous Neil Gubitz thread where all this came into question.  I am not doing this because I have to, but because I was incorrect and I believe it is the right thing to do...TW<<

Hey Trooper,

i gladly accept your apology as i hope you accepted mine.
i always knew you were a man of class and it is definetely
showing now.

i hope i didnt not cause anything else to insult you in any way
and thats why i publically apologized to you because it was obvious that i was in the wrong and probably had hurt your feeling more then i knew.

i can only say that your courage to post a public apology and to inform that their was miscommunication between you and Mr. Morris is incredible for someone to confess here publically.

i hope you dont take anything i say as a plee for business as you made it clear a long time ago that this was not going to happen or even friendship but i do thank you because their is at least some peace between us now.

to say the least my level of respect for you and your work at the zoo has rised 2 levels on my list and i hope to keep learning from you for years to come.
it comes down to that we are all humans and despite the forgivingness and respect for one another that this world has lost throughout the years. im happy that their are still alot of us here involved with reptiles that are willing to make that change.
getting along does not only help us become better reptile keepers but instead better humans to our fellow brothers.

thanks trooper, their is a lesson for all of us to learn and i have learned a great lesson in life here today.

Thanks for defining the phrase "TO MAN UP".........maybe others can read your post and learn what it truly means......and try it themselves.

Like Webslave said......it's a sad state of affairs when truth (and I'll add honor) is more the rarity than the norm.

Props to honesty and integrity.....the only two things a person has that no matter how badly they are beaten physically or financially, can never be TAKEN away. Honesty and integrity can only be GIVEN away.
