In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was thinking about some of the clutches I struck out on this year and the past few years and it made me wonder how bad my luck is compared to everyone elses. Lets hear your bad luck stories. Here's a few of mine...

Lesser x lesser... 1 good egg... Normal
Cinny x cinny... 1 good egg... Normal
Bee x normal... 8 good eggs... 3 spiders, 3 pastels, 2 normals
Pastel x pin... 3 good eggs... 1 pastel, 2 normals

Last year I had 2 females bred to a YB male. I got 6 eggs per clutch. Clutch 1 was 3 YBs and and 3 normals. Clutch 2 was 4 YBs and 2 normals. Just hatched my only clutch of the season which was mojave to normal and got a clutch of 5, all normals.

I really hope your odds get better!!!

Only clutch I had was a bee x normal. 8 eggs. 1 pastel, 2 normals and 5 spiders. Good odds on morph to normal but all single genes.

Bummer. Actually, that's not even good odds on morph to normal. You should have gotten 2 normals in that clutch. 2 bees, 2 spiders, 2 pastels.

i feel your pain :(
bred a huge normal to pastel & woma male , got 9 eggs , sex ratio : 7.2 , got only 2 pastels and yes they were males...
bred pastel X pastel got 5 eggs , 2 went bad , hatched 2 pastels 1 normal , sex ratio 2.1, 1.1 pastels , 1. normal :(
waiting on 2 more clutches we will see...
but best of luck to you , hopefully next season ....

Was just meaning it wasn't bad odds on the morph numbers. I should of gotten 2 normals and 6 morphs, which I did. Just sucks on the actual odds on the morphs. and it was 2.6 on sex odds too.. 1 spider and the pastel were female. lol

BUT, I did end up hatching out a REALY cool spider, it was a high white with a nice yellow top and only 5 mini stripes on the whole body that came further then 1/4 down the body. Looked realy cool!
