My ball python has 6 eggs. They looked great at first but now they look deflated.Due any time now.She tended to them herself.
How long has she been incubating them? If its early in the incubating period your humidity levels are to low per the reason they are deflating. When eggs are in the last week of hatching they dimple not deflate.Keep us postedredtailtazz said:My ball python has 6 eggs. They looked great at first but now they look deflated.Due any time now.She tended to them herself.
The high humidity is deadly on ball python eggs as is to low of humidity. Are they still connected together? If they are separated is there a way you can hold one up to the light and see if their are veins? If not thats OK.From your description of the eggs along with the high humidity i will be surprised if they still have a live baby inside.I am not trying to bring you down by no means, just letting you know the possibilities.Like i said before keep me posted OK?redtailtazz said:We are on day 45 but they have been like this for a couple of weeks now.The humidity is too high if anything.humidity is about 75% and temp between 85 and 90 degrees.
I would say they are fine, It's normal for them to collapse a few weeks before hatching.redtailtazz said:We are on day 45 but they have been like this for a couple of weeks now.The humidity is too high if anything.humidity is about 75% and temp between 85 and 90 degrees.
