In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ball python too thin????

He's fine

For a male, males dont get as fat as females do, you you have nothing to worry about, one adult mouse a week is good for him

Our baby ball pythons eat adult mice and rat pups at less than one month of age.

A 2 ft Ball Python should easily take a jumbo adult mouse or small rat. 2 fuzzy mice is definitely a small meal, and you can expect minimal growth.

He looks good

The male looks like he is at a good weight. Males don't get girthy like females. If you think he is too light for you, about two adult mice or rat pups a week seems to be good for him.

I'm going to have to agree with everyone here.
Ive gone on a posting frenzy tonight.
I am sitting here, alone, on a saturday night. No better way to spend it.

Breeding

It is a very educational experiece and it can also put money in you pocket. For someone who is young, it is a good time to start. There are people who make Thousands and Thousands of dollars every year from there pet Ball Pythons. Most of them started out with one or two pairs. If you where able to obtain a female, it would take you another 2-3years to get her up to breeding size. If push came to shove you could always give the babies to a local high school or pet store. When you learn something like this you are teaching yourself lots of things. You learn things like; gathering information and using the contents, patients, reproduction, terms and definitions, and most of all how to care for an animal and teach others how too also. If you really get into it you will slowly learn business works. These are all things that school cant always show you.
I have heard stories of a kid who is 15 that breeds toy dogs. He started when he was 11 with a pair and now he has lots of dogs. He makes more money than his parents. He pays his older sister and his mom to walk the dogs. How cool would that be?
I have a 5 year old bout and for his b-day i got him a pair of corns. He likes them but he dosnt understand everything yet. When he gets older and if he shows interest in it, I will get him a nice pair of Ball Pythons.
I am not trying to push you into it. I am just telling you the binifits of learning how it works.

Best of luck to you!!!
