    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

a friend of mine is having a problem with his male ball python.he purchased a female about 2 months ago and have them in the same enclosure.the male has not eat since.there is no aggression between the 2 in fact they lay together.has anyone had this problem,or have any suggestions for solving the problem?

More than likely the male isnt gonna eat while in the same cage as the female all he has on his mind is breeding.If I was ya'll I would seperate them and give him sometime.Although I have a few males that havent eating since I took them from the females.And if they arent big enough for breeding I would still keep them seperate.Some ball pythons go off fed during the winter months.I have some that did and some that never refused a meal all winter.

Dusty has a few great points.

1. It is never a good idea to house any Boids together, it can lead to stress and poor feeding habits by 1 or both of the animals that are housed together. Ball pythons (IMO) should not be housed together for ANY reason other than breeding.

2. It could be as simple as a winter fast. I have had males and females fast for as long as 7 months during the winter.

I would not worry about it too much, but it would be a good idea to tell your friend he needs to keep them in seperate tanks.
