im posting this in case any of you ever have the same problem.....
a couple of days ago during feeding one of my sandfire's was accidently nipped at on the leg. she didn't want to stand on it, but it didnt look bad to me.{swollen or bent}as a owner my responsibility is to make sure they are all cared for as best as possible.so, instead of posting for help on the forum i took her to avian herp. specialist in san diego.she was xrayed, sedated and the bone was set back in place.{was complete break on femur, right below shoulder} and they casted her up while under xray. So....no longer do i feed the babys together, as this could have been avoided. the bill was 300 bux so far and i gotta take her back for a check up in a month. i also have to give her shots every three days =( if i didnt take her she would have lost full use of her arm... if any one has a similar problem feel free to ask any questions these pics are before vet and obviously after....she will be in the half cast for 2 months
