In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hi i need help ..... this is my first time breeding bearded dragons my female layed eggs on sep 9 2010 and im still waiting on the new clutch my question ishow long do i have to wait in between clutches she has not been digging she is active and eating well on grens and roaches if you can help me with some advice thank you

What is she weighing in at? I ussually dont breed the same female twice in the same seasonm but just because I dont breed very often...
What has this got to do with anything??? Let alone the question?

?????
Your question is vague, I’m assuming it first laid on sept 9 and you want to know when to expect the second clutch? If there is one, generally between 3- 5 weeks after the first.
IMO, you might want to do a bit more research before they hatch.

She should of had her 2 clutch already. My female had her first clutch on the 14th of sept and her 2 on the 19th of oct.. they will usually lay every 3-4 weeks until there done. My advice is give her a shallow bath and gently feel her stomach and see if you feel eggs.. is it her first time being bred, because she could have 1 clutch like my last female did. Then she went into brumation for a month and had 4 more clutches after that.. check her stomach though

NOt all females lay more than one clutch. Especially when it is a female's first season you will often only see 1 clutch. If she isn't putting a lot of weight back on and showing signs of more eggs than I would not worry about. Try again next season and you will likely get multiple clutches.

Sometimes even if it is a female's first time breeding, they could brew up another batch of eggs and be ready to drop those within a month after laying her first clutch. If she is gravid again, there are times you won't even notice there's a second clutch on it's way until a week or two before she lays them.

It's happened a couple times for me and I nearly had a heart attack when one day I seen and felt a whole bunch of eggs out of nowhere  (even with me checking every other day because she was acting how she did gravid.) The "antsiness" can also mean she wants to breed again... But that's something only the owner will be able to tell since they would know the patterns and behaviors of the dragon.

Even if that's not the case, keep feeding her more than usual since she did just lay in September. Keep an eye on her.

Good luck!

Her weight does matter, obviously she will be weighing more than usual if she is producing eggs. So your comment on that was unnecessary to say the least.

First, a dragon retains sperm from their breeding session whether it be once or multiple times... It is possible to find a female gravid over 5wks. since the previous laid clutch.

Second, he is doing his research by posting his questions on this forum.

thanx to everyone that answered my call lol i have check her in the bath and yes she has eggs in her tummy shes eating like a pig putting in weight so i know she is gravid but she is not scratching like last time so can i still put her in her layed box ?

I was seeing if she had layed those eggs yet. I would wait until she started glass surfing and scratching before I put her in the laybox. Keep us posted on her. Good luck
