... sorry Will, I used to have their contact info but after they ripped me off I trashed it out of disgust. I hope you have not sent them any money yet as you will probably be in for a big disappointment just like everyone else on this board who has dealt with them.

They are terrible, terrible people. Do a search on them on this board and you will find many others who have found themselves in the same predicament you are in now, myself included although the monetary value was not nearly as great. Even if they DO send you the snakes, I doubt you will ever be able to prove them out. They also "cut and paste" other people's ads as well as use their pictures. Please report them to kingsnake.com... there is a whole group of us trying to get these guys and if you don't receive anything I would go to the police. Do try the search on this site, though, as you may find the contact info for Bearded Pets there. They will not respond to e-mails or phone calls once they receive your money, however, contact info will be helpful if you do wind up having to go to the police or FBI.

I hope this works out for you in the best way possible and that you can get your money back and/or help the many others of us who have been ripped off by Bearded Pets as well by reporting these sorry leeches of the herp industry.

I can't get them to respond to my emails. I have never dealt with them and for all I know, they could be good people. All I want is my money back. That is all I am saying now. The rest remains to be seen.

I can't find a phone number or anything other than an email address. It is my fault for not getting pertinent contact info prior to sending them my $.

I hope it all works out.

Sorry if I sound harsh but no such luck there. They are no doubt at the very top of my "Chit List" and will remain there until they get out of the hobby altogether.

I wish you the very best of luck getting in contact with them. I hope you get your money back as well. If by chance I come up with anything on them, I'll email you asap.

One last thing before I go - isn't it funny Trunk's "family business" sells all these "hets" for well below market price, he's even stated some of them came direct from Mexico (crock of $^%&) and then all of a sudden, when the "hets" stop selling (thanks to this site) he posts ads selling normals, with pics....now he's got a high white Pied for sale with NO PICS?????? I'm guessing he wants to go out with a bang.

they were able to con so many people. Will K.S. help at all? Has anyone contacted Jeff B? Why would Jeff let these people do this after they recieved complaints? If you allow a known thief to use you website (for a profit) to do illegal activities, and you are aware of that..??..??

I just recieved two ball pythons from Bearded Pets.

The address on the box that was UPS shipped says

They included a birthing record from an Eliga Collins from Atlanta, GA.

There were two certificates that stated that these snakes would make Pied's in their second generation breeding. Well, if they are both hets, they should make Pied's the first time they breed, correct?

One snake looked ok, the other is emaciated and sickly looking as hell. It apparently has not fed in a long long time. Probably will die soon. It's little backbone is sticking out like crazy.

Anyone out there have any info they can help me get in contact with these guys?

I had not tried that. I called that number and it is a cell. I see that address is north of Atlanta. I will not hesitate to drive down there to that address. I am not about to sit around and let somebody steal from me.

I just can't understand why people can't be as honest as I am and many others on this forum.

I am in the process now of contacting authorities to help me out.

A bunch of these addresses are very close

geographically speaking. Has anyone ever met John, Elena, Eliga, Brenda or whoever else is running bearded pets? I also did a little search on "Eliga Collins" I thought it would be likely his name may be "Elijah Collins" I googled it and come up with an address (and phone number) that is right down the street from John and Brenda. This is starting to sound like a scam where some piece of fecal matter is using names of people that he/she knows (possibly friends or maybe classmates if it is a kid). All the towns are in Gwinett county. Has anyone reached these people by phone?

FBI Report

I started a thread when I got a taste of their dishonesty.
It is here on the BOI, titled: "BEARDED PETS" ... *Inquiry/BUYER BEWARE!!*

I have filed a complaint with IFCC (a branch of the FBI).
Kingsnake state that although they receive complaints about these con-artists, they always ask people to file their complaints with IFCC first, THEN they may take action as per their Terms Of Service (TOS).

KS says that despite all the complaints, NO ONE has ever filed!

So, as I said before.... we will continue to see warnings about the "Bearded Idiots" on the BOI, and their scams in the classifieds, for as long as people do not file their proof and facts to the FBI branch.

My complaint against the BPets was to do with copyright infringement where they are (still) blatantly copying (into their ads) significant parts of a couple paragraphs of my own ads, to sell the same species of animals on the same page/section as I am! It is disgustingly unethical. Furthermore, 2 other websites have word-for-word 'cut & paste' versions of their text appearing in those ads.

After starting the thread, I received two very abusive and offensive emails from someone who I believe may be connected to Bearded Pets, since they made a small reference to a term I used to describe them (which they quoted in inverted commas).
It appears that the sender of the email messages forged the header information to give the impression that it came from the Yahoo! Mail system.
To go to those lengths so as to cover their identity through email has to be someone who either has too much time on their hands and does not know how to use it positively, or someone who feels threatened and at risk of being tracked down.
The offender's ISP has been notified of the abusive use of their service. They wasted their time emailing me, for I will not stoop to their level in response.

Whoever is behind all this needs to be dealt with once and for all!

The more information individuals have, (posted here), the more we can piece together their spineless and mindless operation.

Unfortunately it appears that the vast majority of people who come to search on the BOI are those who have already been burnt. By then it is too late.
It is merely adding insult to injury if the complaints of actual bad dealings (or attempted ones) are posted as a complaint and not FILED as a complaint to the appropriate authorities.

Ideally whoever has plans to go to any of the suspect addresses of Bearded Pets, should maybe consider having someone from the local police/FBI office to first read up on the last 3 threads dedicated to BPets for example, and accompany them to the locations.

If BPets have sick and unhealthy animals on their premises that they are selling, perhaps a vet should also be added to the visiting group.
You may be amazed at the angles from which these con-artists can be buried for good.

It is difficult to say much and so openly here, with regards to ways of outwitting them - for they are indeed reading the BOI.
By saying what you will do just gives them ammunition for their next move.
By telling them what and how they are messing up in their ads or other sales, with regards to obvious lack of knowledge only fuels them to 'get it right' next time to convince the next victim that they are knowlegeable or experienced.

WJ Long: You may want to read the other thread at the top of the search list for BPets: "Inquiry on bearded pets?"...plenty of info re. the supposed (ficticious?) 'Collins' person....
