• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I've already posted this on beardedragon.org...but I think it needs to be posted for the Fauna community as well!!!

I am a graphic artist and do a monthly biker magazine distributed to the Mid-Atlantic. It's great to the the opportunity to do an entire magazine on my own...But I would like the opportunity to do something that I have personal interest in.

www.cornsnakes.com has a member that puts out a monthly cornsnake newsletter. I would love to see one on beardies!

I would like to print articles from members here and if anyone knows a good herp vet that would be willing to write a reptile health related article each month in exchange for advertising, that would be awesome!

Content each month:

A feature dragon (from a reader)
Breeders article
Special feature article
Feeding section
Vet article
Beardie related comic
Quiz
Crossword
Polls (kind of like REPTILES does)

For at least the first issue or two, this newsletter will only be 8 pages. I am considering offering sponsorships to breeders/dealers/suppliers...Which will of course increase pages and content!

So, what I'm looking for from all of YOU beardie enthusiasts...

- Submissions for "Feature Dragon" of the month
Send 2-3 high resolution pictures of your dragon and/or you and your dragon
Answer these questions-
Name:
Age:
Favorite Veggie:
Favorite Insect:
Favorite Thing to Do:
Quirk:

- Submissions for "Feature Breeder" of the month
Send 3-5 high resolution pictures of your dragons and/or you and your dragons and/or your facilities
Send a "Breeder Bio" with information on yourself, what you go into dragons, and any other information you would like to add

Submissions for "Special Feature" of the month
Articles on ANYTHING related to Beardies...Current trends in feeding/houseing, how to raise and breed crickets/silkies, etc.

*Note* Everything submitted must be your own work. I do not want to have to research each and every submission, so I am trusting everyone here to know and understand that ANYTHING printed or posted online has copyright protections.

Send everything to [email protected]
