    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bells! (jungle, blue, hybino)

Paul.... love the pics... a question on the blue bells.... I had this little one come out of my incubator this morning...

I was surprised by how dark purple it was, almost bruised, I was going to make a post about it tonight anyway but when I saw your thread I figured it would be best to post it here. This is by far the darkest bell I have hatched out this season, most are looking like this...

that one is in shed...

So far all my bells have been from the same pairing. The father is a very tangy bell, but mom has a ton of lavender in her. Even more pronounced than in your male. Interesting to see... I'll keep you posted on any more I hatch out like that, its too bad you are in the states, I would try to work out some kind of joint project with you on this if you were interested.

Cool Cory! I'd love to see a pic of that female. The baby you just hatched looks just like what I'm seeing from this project. (I really like that second Bell too!) Thanks for posting...I'd really like to see some pictures of that baby (blue) when it matures. Bells hold on to that lavender color so nicely :)

Here's the mother, she is gravid now as well, I have to say I am VERY pleased with how she is holding her weight, she has laid three clutchs so far and hasn't lost an ounce...

As you can see she has VERY nice lavender....
