In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi folks! Haven't been around much lately, life has gotten way out of control! LOL

I know that the single gene critters aren't that exciting these days, but I was pretty excited about this clutch. I bred my black back cinnie that I got from Tim Bailey to a black back female of mine and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Perfect odds (3 normals, 3 cinnies). I was starting to dispair though, when every time an animal left the egg, it had penes. Finally, yesterday, the last baby left the egg, and it was a female - so I got my female cinnie!

I love selective breeding!

Here are the boys:

And my holdback girl:

She has insane floating connecting pattern about 1/2 to 3/4 of her body on both sides - you can kind of see it here:

And then I got this very interesting normal male:

Here are the proud parents! LOL

Robin, you weren't kidding when you told me how great they looked!! I love that little female!! But seriously...I know you don't really want to keep her so just bring her to Trey's. I should be up there later today!! :D

Hah! She's not going anywhere! :reddevil: LOL But if you want one of the males, that's a different story. ;)

I won't be going to Trey's today, so I'll miss you - but it was nice running into you on Sunday! :)

But...but...but...:crying: I want her!!!

It was nice running into you, too. Congrats on the gorgeous cinnies!!

They are beautiful Robin, Congrats again.

What are your plans for your holdback girl ?
You don't happen to have a male SPOG with a BlackBack, do you ?

They would make some really nice Hypo Cinnys, or some great looking Hypo Pewters and Silver Streaks.

Gorgeous!! If I didn't already have a pewter male and cinny male I would be getting one of yours. The black back gene is one of my main focuses, so if you have any female black back cinnies in the future... Remember me! :thumbsups:

Post a sticky note somewhere! Lol jking.

Great looking babies. I love cinnies! Congrats.

i agree. that is a really nice one. i hate to say it, but i think she looks better than mine. :D she will be dropping some eggs next week so i hope to get some more black/brown backs.

Bradley,

I really hope that you produce more as well! And your girl is pretty hot herself!

Needless to say, I do plan to do this same pairing next year as well, since the outcome turned out so well! :D
