    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Does anyone have any experience breeding blood pythons to ball pythons? I love the look and size of the cross and have been thinking about breeding some to get 1 clutch just to have as pets. I currently breed ball pythons so I know all the breeding aspects. I guess my main question is does it always have to be a male ball X a female blood? Is it possible for a male blood and female ball to breed successfully. I.E. no complications with egg binding etc.. Any info would be great.
 
I have to assume that its along the same lines as bateaters. Its ideal to have the heavier bodied (or bigger) specied be the mother, for egg carrying reason to help prevent any issue
