    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry boamaster

Ok so here's the update I got the number and called the company it turns putnthe driver delivered to the wrpng addresss or something and somepne signed for it andn payed for it so theu are starting an investigation so fault lies on the shipping company
Wow that's a shady thing for someone to do! If something was delivered to my house and it wasn't mine I would immediately tell them it's not mine and send it back! Whoever did that I hope is hit with a criminal charge, that's stealing! I know if you open someone else's mail it's a felony, not sure about shipping like fedex.

Yeah and I live in the woods so its messed up everyone here knows everyone so I'm sure ill find out who ended up with it. Some people nowadays

Boy what a joke lol so they transfered to a different company and I recived a call so its going to be delivered this week but the price went from the estimated cost of 150 to the charge of 243 that's ridicules I could have bought another cage for that much. But props to mark for helping me get to the bottom of it

No, it's not a crime at all to accept a mis-delivered package. Heck we get stuff for our neighbors dropped at our door at least once a week. Since we run a home-based business it's normal for UPS/FedEx/USPS to show up daily with a stack of boxes. Sometimes we can't go through them all immediately, we just check that there's no obvious damage to the boxes, bring them in, and deal with the packages later. We just take the box to the neighbor later that day. Our regular delivery drivers also have our phone number and they give us a heads-up about 15 minutes before they show up if there's a box big and heavy enough to require the hand truck.

It's odd that someone would accept a package that's COD though, most people know if something they have to pay for is coming in, unless the driver neglected to collect the COD fee. Also the rack the OP ordered is massive - 10-level of the 74 quart sterilite tubs - which also makes it odd someone would accept it. There just aren't that many snake keepers in the world, what are the odds someone random would get that crate and think "WOOHOO IT'S MY LUCKY DAY"?

There's more than we think. Not everyone one bothers to get in groups or on formus. Also they could have seen it as a way to make money, pay a small fee and sell it. And it should be a crime to accept a misdelivered package. If you did not pay for it that is stealing. it's obvious they haven't tried to contact the person who was supposed to get it. His name, address, and phone number should be on the label. It's not hard to pick up a phone or make a drive to say hey I received this and I think it's yours.

Lol like I said it wasn't delivered they signed it over to a different company for delivery
Figures, another vendor, another fee. Probably the thing is so big they don't want to deal with it.

Too late now but if you get anything oversized or on a pallet delivered in the future have it held at a truck depot. It's tons cheaper to pay for them to load it into your truck than to have it delivered to your house.

Yeah will have to do that next time its insane how much simple delivery can me I coild havw rented a uhaul trucl and picked it up for 100 $ lol
