In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I Know........ the pope is catholic also! Just wanted to start a positive thread about someone who has been around a long time. Bob clark is a representative of the herp community and his integrity is unsurpassed! There are a bunch of great people breeding reptiles and Bob is one of the best! Plus he has great snakes! Thanx Bob!  Casey Hulse

You are so right.  Bob is a true professional in the herping community...his knowledge is among the best with the animals he works with (and many you wouldn't expect), his business practices are great and his animals are excellent.  If you ever are in OKC, give Bob a call ahead of time and go visit his facility if possible.  It's my pleasure to know Bob (and his right-hand man, Rance) and know that I can pick up the phone and call, or e-mail, any time  with a question or problem knowing that I'll get a professional answer every time.

Bob is truly a great guy! I have visited his place in Oklahoma and was very impressed with his collection and quality of his animals, last week I was visited by Bob at my place, this is truly a Honor to have someone of his caliber take the time out of his  busy schedule to come look at my animals and reptile room, he gave me a A+, it really made me feel good :eek:}

There is more positive stuff to say about Bob Clark than I can fill up in the space provided here. Even after a long weekend at these herps shows here in Texas, Bob will sit down with me and a friend of mine and B.S. until we are blue in the face. I just talked to Bob yesterday and we talked about how much fun it is going to be in the future with the new Striated Boa. I will also say that he picked the best guy to help him out at these shows, Webb Tilton !! With me and him both being FireFighters we almost talk more about fighting fire than we do about selling snakes. He is also another person that cares about his fellow herper and would do ANYTHING to help out.

Thanks,
Wyatt

My experience with Bob was excellent,
In spring of '06 I purchased a pair of LTC Super Dwarf Retics from him. They arrived in excellent shape, exceeded my expectations. These are VERY well adjusted animals- while one is a bit nervous (much less than I expected for a LTC), the other is as tame as any CB- amazing!!

After a vet check, which showed both to be in immaculate shape, I had some more questions for Bob... he addressed all my concerns and went out of his way to ensure I was satisfied with my purchase. It may be a no-brainer to say he's a good guy, but there you have it.

Thanks Bob!

i know a lot more people who are less than satisfied with his services and product....

i would look around first before making a purchase.

Then hopefully they'll come here and share their experiences first hand.

I've been to Bob's facility on a couple of occasions and have purchased several animals from him that were of excellent quality. I've found him to be helpful and well educated on the animals he breeds and sells.

Hhhhmmmm

I doubt very seriously Bob Clark would be where is his today is he was making bad deals or selling bad animals.

I bought a Super Tiger Retic that was one of the most stunning Retics I'd ever seen. He grew like a little weed and at a year old was over 8' long.

I dont know anyone who has had a bad dealing with him. I to would like to see a person post up on here if they have.

well not everyone posts on the BOI... it would be good, but it doesnt happen. i personally think he is overpriced, and he doesnt return phone calls or emails... i love retics, but i would look elsewhere befere patronizing him or his partners.

btw... i bet that supertiger was hatched out by somoene other than bob... you can probably credit al or cindy for that healthy snake :)

Brian,

Please don't think that I'm trying to pick a fight or anything but I did get him directly from Bob Clark Reptiles back in 04. That is why my receipt said Bob Clark Reptiles on it.

Personally I would really hope that a breeder wouldn't sell a hatchling under his/her comapnies name, say it's CBB by them for it to have been hatched by another breeder. I got my super as a hatchling from him not as a juvie or older. I'm not saying it doesn't happen but it's not a good practice to lie to a customer just to sell a snake. Why would he, or any other breeder, do that?? Is/would it really be worth it especially if they were caught?

al and cindy baldogo supply a lot of breeders with supertiger retics... or they use to.

you would be suprised to know that a lot of the animals sold by people like bob are from private breeders such as ourselves... they take our animals at or below wholesale, turn around and sit on them until the animals sell for super retail prices.

not sure if its good or bad... it just is i guess.

i am sure bob produces all kinds of snakes... but he got his original supertigers, and AMELS from baldogo.

glad to hear you got a nice supertiger though. :)

Over the past year and a half I have purchased 4 retics from Bob Clark. 2 of them died within a month, another one that died had a bad liver disease, the only survivor a dwarf tiger retic has moments of weird actions. Also, two friends of mine bought a green tree python from Bob it died within 2 weeks and he did nothing about it. I've been to Bob's place of business and it showed me one thing he's only in it for the money, he had quite a few snakes that had mouthrot and other things wrong with them. If you have had a similar experience or would like to talk to me about mine I would be more than happy to talk, heres my e-mail, [email protected].

Thank you,
Seven

I have purchased from Bob and would never hesitate to do so again. He has answered every phone call and email I have ever had. I have also visited his facility and it appears to me that he does everything possible to take care of his animals. I spent roughly four hours at his place and he spent the whole time talking with me, my brother and father minus the times he would have to step away to take phone calls. He didn't rush us or make us feel unwelcomed. His customer service is top notch.

James,

Is one of the few of the large breeders that we haven't bought from yet. Nevertheless we have e-mailed several times and he was always prompt to reply. Animals can die in anyone's care, but to have three out of four tiger retics die under the care of one individual is highly unusual. Do you still have the vet's report on the one that died of a liver problem? It would be interesting to know what the cause was.

As far as Bob not doing something 15 days after the purchase of an animal one should probably read the terms of service of a seller before the purchase. Bob's terms state that if you don't like or find something wrong with your animal, you have to notify him within 24 hours and he will replace it. I'm not going to discuss if the time-frame he uses is right or wrong, as it varies with different breeders. Those are his terms and one is supposedly aware of them when purchasing. If someone doesn't like them he can simply go elsewhere. The same goes for his prices. He has the right to put the price tag that he wants on his animals. If anyone finds he is overpriced, one can again simply walk away and not purchase from him.

Regards.

All animals are guaranteed to be healthy, feeding and properly sexed. If you are not satisfied we will replace any animal for the cost of the return freight if notified within 24 hours of receipt Payment is required in advance by check, money order, wire transfer or credit card. A 20% deposit is recommended to reserve animals in short supply. Prices quoted are for individual animals based on the purchase of sexual pairs. A surcharge may be added for single or additional females. Quantity discounts are available for some species
