    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

BOI - suggestion for thread titles

I think that the titles on BOI threads should just be the name or business name of the person the thread is about. For example just "Jon Cheris" not "JON CHERIS IS A TOTAL SCUMBAG" - a lot of times the titles are misleading or just represent the posters opinion, then inside the thread it turns out that the title is not true and lots of people stand up for Jon and refute the posters information BUT the title still says Jon is a scumbag and people just browsing and not taking the time to read the whole thread may have that idea planted into their head..... Is this making sense? I think it would add more professonalism, credibility and accuracy to the BOI..........

Just a suggestion. I find the BOI and Fauna to be incredibly useful (as well as entertaining) and greatly appreciate it being here. Guess I better get off my *ss and make a donation, huh?
 
Well, if you have read the rules, then you likely realize that that was close to the original intention of how to use the topic lines of threads in the BOI. Unfortunately, very few read the rules, it seems, which is why you see what you see there. And unfortunately, my editing those topic lines could very possibly put me in legal jeopardy, as once I do that, I then become part author of said threads.
