Solid orange heads, the best! And near black plastrons. 25 total need to go. Eating like t-rexs. First three pics. This is the first time ever in about 8 years that some came out with red heads, and one with a yellow head. Very odd, there are no other redfoots in the yard with them. Genetics are crazy sometimes. I have two males and two females, all with orange heads, so its a cool headscratcher. And all the colors look great. I added some red head pics at the bottom. I have about ten reds, 20 orange, and a yellow head.
Also have some older ones. They should be about 2 years. They spent the summer outside in the yard roaming around, not some tiny pen or aquarium. They are like beefy little hand grenades. They have excellent orange heads but the pics look yellow on my monitor. The orange looks just like the hatchling pics. I can send pics to your phone if you are not seeing the orange. I only breed orange headed adults. These are ranging from 4.5- 5". All of the older ones were incubated for females at 86. The last 30 are a mix. Some were cooked at 83 (last 6) and some at 87 so a little more of a gender spread on the hatchlings. $150 each for the 9 month olds, or 5/$700. $200 each for the older ones. Shipping extra. Some florida shipping free. I drive alot to the west coast of Florida down the center of the state and sometimes Ocala/Gainesville, so we could work it out. Possibly other places.
These pics are all a few months old so they are bigger now.
