    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hello i have a problem. i got a small group from a person off reptibid in february of this year. i got 3 female normal tremper albinos females, a super hypo tang female, and a patternless male. well they were all very light in weight when i got them, except for the male, the females all around 35 grams, the male he was 52 grams. i was told they were all unproven and a year and a half old in februay, now i would guess they are 2 years old. well any way the female sht started laying eggs as soon as i got here(she was only 36 grams ) and then she dropped to 27 shortly after laying a couple clutches. well i cooled her to stop her from laying and it worked, and now 3 monthes of me feeding them they are all over 60 grams and the sht is even over 70 now i am tring to breed the albinos and i have no luck. i put a proven male in with them quite a few times, i have used 3 different proven males and no luck. do you know what is going on here?? i am really starting to wonder why they wont lay eggs for me they are great body weight and age, and the males all have been proven but still nouthing. 4 monthes later they dont appear to be gravid and egg bound . and they are in a 28 qt sterlite with the patternless male right now and have been for 7 weeks with a week break in between. any ideas you might have would greatly be appreciated. THANK YOU in advance

I don't like to be mean...

I would love to try and help, as I'm sure we all would. But it is very hard to read someone's post when it's all one big sentence. It confuses me, maybe it's because I just woke up, but it does. Again, I hate being mean about that stuff but I'm having a hard time reading your post.

sorry

i have a hard time typing with punctuation, especially early in the morning. usually for everything else i can use spell checker and add it in after. i have corrected it the best i can i hope it helps

They could be cycling themselves. Even though you've raised the temps all the outside cues (light etc) are telling them winter is coming. My leos use the light coming in from the windows to cycle themselves. None of them are interested in breeding right now. I'm sure that they will be ready to go again in the spring.

well i would agree that would be the problem except they are all kept in my basement so i control the lighting cycles and tehy get a consistant 12 on/12 off light cycle

It could be that there cycling themselves. They are pretty good at knowing what time of year it is even if you manipulate it. It actually sounds to me like they are just not ready. When they’re ready they’ll let the male mate with them otherwise the male will be chased away. It could be that it’s so late in the season and the females or male have no interest in each other. I kinda doubt the male would be uninterested though, there horny little devils. :) Your best bet would probably be to wait for next year and they’ll be all juiced up by then.
