My sister and I keep and breed various breeds of lizard and have considered breeding some tree frogs in the future. Now to begin we're just going to keep a couple of species for a while to get used to their behavior and needs and learn more about them. But I'm wondering how practical it is to think we'll be able to breed them in the future. With geckos you just put them together for a while, supplement mom with calcium, wait for eggs, incubate eggs, take care of hatchlings just like adults. But apparently, with tree frogs there are detailed cycles, rain chambers, and specific care for tadpole. Unfortunately the only info I've found on cycling adults and building rain chambers has been pretty vague and a little confusing for a beginner like me. Can anyone here describe 1. the method they use for cycling their frogs. 2. the construction of their rain chamber and where they found material. 3. the way they care for new tadpoles and froglets and 4. the relative ease they've found breeding tree frogs as compared to other reptiles or amphibians? Thanks.
