    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

There is a Burmese Python someone wants me to adopt.
The snake is 2 years old and have been told it is only a little over 2 feet long.
I asked for a picture because I did not think that was possible and assumed the owner was confused with Ball. The picture was indeed that a Burm. Is it possible for a Burm to 2 years and only slightly larger then 2 feet, and be healthy?

As reported to me, the snake eats 1 large mouse a week and is healthy. The snake as reported to me, is very docile.

I had a 14' Burm back in the early mid 1990s that I lost in a fire. I am anxious to get another, but should I avoid this particular one? I am set to check her out tomorrow anything specific I should look for other then the normal checking out a snake stuff.

I would look the burm over, ask questions about her background, and be prepared for almost anything.

I've never had a burm but I do have a female mainland retic just about a year old that finally broke 100 grams this week due to incubation issues + inexperienced prior owner + breeder shipped too soon due to the Lacey Act deadline last year. According to the vet she's healthy, just tiny, and he expects that she will reach her genetic potential size - eventually.

I don't see how a two year old could be 2 feet..hell they hatch around a foot or more...I have a 2 year old that was extremely underfeed her first year and she is now around 9 foot pound rabbits like there going outa style.. Definitely give the snake a solid look over
