In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Living Gems Reptiles is pleased to finally profile the babies from its 2016 “B” litter. This has been a long-delayed post due to the combination of a late birth and cross-country move.

Born on October 3, 2016 to Caesarion (a July 2010 male noted for his proven Don Juan abilities and now rare Tim Frazier blood)…

Sire

…and Malchite (an August 2008 female noted for her reddish color)…

Dam

…this litter represents the first pairing of these two animals.

The 20 babies in this litter are showing both their sire’s orange and their dam’s red heritage. They have mostly traditional dorsals, with only a few short chains; and they have predominantly traditional side crescents, with only a few unusual marks. The gender split was female-heavy, with eight boys and twelve girls.

All have now shed at least three times, eaten ten times, and had “confirmation” their digestion is properly working. As has been outlined in previous posts, all of these babies come from a disease-tested facility.

As with all LGR litters, we’ve done dozens of handling sessions for each baby, part of our commitment to start acclimating them to humans.

Over the following posts, please find a short profile of every baby in the litter. For each, a short description is provided, noting any behavioral or physical quirks, along with a selection of photos showing their development over the first few sheds. For dorsal chains, “short” means two to three linked spots, and “long” mean four or more.

So grab a cup of your favorite brew, sit back, relax, and enjoy!

If you like what you see, and want first dibs at any babies, you can sign up for our Wait List here <statictab.com/w5cjpkc>.

Thank you as always,

This stubborn boy turned up his nose at food for weeks…until he finally decided food was good at week eight, and not has missed a meal since. We’ve been slipping him extra portions during off weeks to make up for lost time and calories, and he’s taken all those meals, too!
