• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Can I make a blue leo?

Can I make a line-bred blue leo?

This is the right subject, right? If I'm confused, feel free to beat me up :shrug01: :D

No need to get physical! lol It is the right subject...kind of, but not the right project. Ron was working with a gecko that had a "blue spot" on its tail that turned out to be a tumor, I believe. I'm just trying to increase the amount of overall "lavendar" on some Bell albinos I've worked with for a while. I noticed one or two that displayed a large amount of lavendar about three seasons ago and so far I've crossed them together and with other "pastel" morphs to see what may happen. I've seen pretty good progress, in my opinion, considering I've only worked at it for basically two seasons. Getting the lavendar to stand out and remain through adulthood isn't all that difficult, but trying to reduce the size or even the existence of the yellow bands is going to take some time. I do have a few with very limited yellow banding and they are my best shot at producing an all "blue"...actually lavendar, gecko in my opinion. This coming season should be a good one for this project...we'll see ;)

Pat, thank for the updates...and the encouragement! It will be great to see the snow bells from those girls :thumbsup:

Ah, yeah, I'm stupid like that. It's the way I roll *puts on sunglasses and walks in to the sunset*

Good luck with that, though, Paul.
