• Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Can someone please help me?

It sounds like your iggy is scared and not warm enough.You did not mention what sort of cage you have for him and what you have on the floor of the cage.the skin infection is propably caused by a dirty flooring.You iggy needs something to climb on and something to hide in.It needs a light during the day that gives him enough heat that he feels warm if you touch him and you can use a heatpad under the tank at night.it is not good to keep the light on all the time.iguanas have to sleep like anybody else.When you put him into the sun do not put him in a glass cage.it would overheat.Use a screen cage.You can build one yourself.Make it safe so he cannot get out and other animals cannot get in.Give him also some shade so if he gets too hot he can get out of the sun.baby iguanas overheat fast and die.You have to read more about how to take care of them.there is plenty of information on the internet.Read as much as you can.Most websites I found were sources of good information.

Seems normal, their eyes do bulge out a bit while they sleep. It is if you see their eyes sunken in, that is a time to worry. I have awaken my ig many times.

Here is a picture of girl sleeping:
